Vagina Monologues performance at Old Vic Theatre on VAGINA Day in 1999
When GILLIAN ANDERSON, CATE BLANCHETT, MELANIE GRIFFITH, KATE WINSLET and model, SOPHIE DAHL all have equal billing on a London stage, you know the occasion has to be something unique.
The all-star performance held at London’s OLD VIC Theatre yesterday (14/2) was organised to raise money for six charities working to end violence against women and children, including Rape Crisis Line, Refuge, Sine and Newham Asian Women’s Project.
CATE BLANCHETT performed a monologue about observing the birth of a child.
