How stupid is Batman?

I'm honestly not sure how this works. According to this, Batman fired the Joker four years ago, and replaced him with Alfred. It appears now that Batman is considering firing Alfred, and bringing back the Joker. With this meme, is the suggestion that the Joker had been working as Batman's assistant, and then was fired. That Batman would even consider hiring a man who he caused to be insane by dropping him into a vat of chemicals, to assist him behind the scenes, was bad enough. But then he hires Alfred, who clearly was in decline four years ago. Gotham City is at serious risk, if Batman was willing to hire either a psychopath or a senile person (who should be in a nursing home) to assist him in fighting crime. So where is Robin (Dick Grayson) to help Batman out here? I'm guessing Robin left, because he was sick of Alfred sniffing his hair, or wanting to show Robin how the hairs on his leg turned blonde in the Sun. If Batman is this incompetent, then maybe it makes sense the Suicide Squad might need to rub him out in the Arkham Asylum.

Protesting Themselves.

So here we have Governor Roy Cooper of North Carolina, marching in solidarity with the protesters giving the communist power salute. After keeping his state locked down since March, because of how dangerous it is for people not to follow proper social distancing, putting people at risk for death from Chinese cooties if you permit crowds going to Church or enjoying the outdoors. “Fight the police! Fight the establishment!” so what you have here is a man who has a great deal of power over the police, protesting what he has power over. I guess marching in a crowd, is a risk he’s willing to take, to show how much he opposes himself for oppressing people. But hey, he’s wearing a mask, which he will only let down for photo ops, because that’s how he roles.

Why is Disney being racist toward Hippos?

As a child, whenever I went on the Jungle cruise at Disneyland, the park showed their disdain against one of God’s creatures, by showing hippos were only suitable to be shot at. I have no ideas how many Hippos died, but when you consider how at least one hippo died, with every Jungle Cruise voyage, the number of imaginary deaths, must have been in the thousands. 

 Can you even recall a hippo playing a significant part in a single Disney film? Hippos have been treated in a racist manner in many Disney films. They were little better than minstrel performers in Fantasia, where they were fat shamed. I can’t be alone in being disgusted by how one hippo was subjected to the male gaze of an alligator! “Look at how silly that fat hippo looks playing ballet”, I can picture racist audiences of the time, as they laughed at the poor hippo.

  In the animated film Robin Hood, they had hippos playing drums for comic effect, because they wanted to convey that hippos were just not qualified to handle halberds like the rhinos were. They just had them play drums for the tyrannical King John, like simpletons.bearing idiot grins.

Despite Tarzan taking place in Africa, the hippos were little more then set dressing. Typically, Disney would rather have given Tarzan an elephant for a best friend.

Disney could have made amends for all their years of being racist against hippos, by making Dumbo a hippo centered film. But no, once again they insisted on making the film elephant centered. If you have any sense of social justice, I would urge you to boycott any more of these live action adaptations, until Disney begins to address this historic injustice!

Toy Story 4, Woody meets the bad seed.

First of all I enjoyed Toy Story 4. This will contain spoilers, so if you plan on seeing the film, and don’t want spoilers, you may not want to continue reading.

There is this Youtube video with Geeky Sparkles and Kneon. They made some interesting points about Toy Story 4, but admitted their opinion comes from what somebody posted about the film, since they hadn’t seen the film prior to making the video.

Well I did see the movie, enjoyed it, and would recommend it. Although they hadn’t seen Toy Story 4, they did see Toy Story 3, and they reminded me of something about the third film, how much Bonnie wanted Woody.

In Toy Story 3, Bonnie badgered Andy for a toy he had no intention of giving up, perhaps might have passed on to his own children, making a promise to look after the little cowboy.  Toystory 4 shows Bonnie had completely forgotten that promise.This to me, made the character a lot less likable, including the way she demands that her parents put everything on hold, because of her concern for something she made out of the contents of  a trash bin woody had raided for her, somewhat over the top. Because she had made the toy with her own hands, it takes  precedence over every other toy she possesses. They pale in comparison to her own creation, because Forky alone is imbued with the essence of her, as Bonnie’s creation. Forky Uber Alles.

While Bonnie is reduced to a whining and sniveling brat, Woody becomes a better character by comparison. He is the very model of self sacrifice. He is a hero. Her mistreatment of Woody, doesn’t stop him from looking after her. He sneaks aboard her backpack, to help her deal with Bonnie’s separation anxiety of going to school. Because Forky is important to Bonnie, he goes after Forky to let him understand how much he means to Bonnie. Woody sacrifices a bit of himself for a doll who thinks if her voice is restored, a girl she has wanted to be with, will want her. When that girl rejects the doll, it’s Woody who helps her become acquainted with a little girl who will appreciate the doll. Bo Peep returns, and I like that they explain her absence in Toy Story 3, as well as the chemistry between her in Woody. 

Regarding Buzz Lightyear, I don’t think I’m alone in that he seemed a bit dumbed down in this film, but it plays well to comedic effect, and I enjoyed the new side characters.

If you haven’t seen Toy Story 4, then by all means do so. One common gripe is how unnecessary it was, but as far as I’m concerned when I go to see a movie, my hope is I will be entertained by it. In this respect, for me anyway, Toy Story 4 more then met my expectations.

Un-Civil War.

On the Cobert show, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D., Calif.) said there would be a cooling down of political rhetoric "when we win" the midterms. Hillary has said something similar. How can either make such a claim?

   As much as Hillary would like things to return to 1992, or 2008, when the Democrats held both houses of congress and the White-House for two years, before Americans voted to change things; exactly how would the Democrats calm the country down once they reclaim Congress? The simple answer is not only would they be unable to, they wouldn’t if they could.

  The angry mob is far too useful to intimidate people, be it going after a mad scientist creating a monster, or ANTIFA disrupting peaceful demonstrations for angry mobs to be discouraged. Charlottesville is often cited as an example of ultraright violence, but if leftist counter demonstrators hadn’t shown up, there would have been no violence. It takes two to tangle, so to speak. Trump, who’s rhetoric has often been blamed for violent actions. The problem with that theory, is there was violence before Trump was president, and progressive groups like ANTIFA not only existed before Trump was president, the incivility was going on while Obama was President. Should he also share blame for the violence that occurred in the wake of Trayvon Martin being shot, when instead of attempting to calm things down, he lamented how it was like his own son had been shot? Did Obama do anything to beg people to tone down the rhetoric when he was President? Should Bernie Sanders be blamed for one of his supporters shooting up a softball field, where congressmen were practicing for a charity ball game, seriously injuring some of them? Bernie Sanders was clearly outraged by this act done by one of his supporters, and to his credit, publicly denounced it.

     Trump said, in the case of Charlottesville, there was bad on both sides. I had one progressive friend who claimed Trump was endorsing the violence of the right. I’m not sure how complaining about both sides, equates with picking one side over the other. Trump was also blamed by some for the Synagogue shooting where 11 people died. The shooter despised Trump, because he blamed Trump for being too  pro-Jewish. Not only did Trump violate the shooter’s Aryan micro aggressions by allowing his daughter to marry a Jewish man, he moved our embassy in Israel to Jerusalem! Think of how for all these years all the American presidents up to now had kept synagogues safe by not not honoring the promises each had made to do exactly what Trump had made. And then that dastardly orange face guy had the colossal nerve to keep a campaign promise he had made. What a racist!

   If the Democrat Party was really interested in stopping incivility, they could begin to denounce groups like ANTIFA. I think the ANTIFA mantra of “punch a Nazi” is a disturbing invitation to commit a felony, just because you disagree with them. Instead, some Democrat leaders want to ride the coat tails of violent thugs by making a promise they can't or won’t keep, such as the one they had kept making to Jewish voters to move our embassy to Jerusalem. The truth is, even if the Democrats reclaim both houses of congress, and the Presidency in 2020, violent demonstrations will continue. Neither Nancy Pelosi or Hillary Clinton have any control over ANTIFA, and that organization won’t stop the violence, until our country becomes a socialist nation like Venezuela. The incivility we are seeing is a collective temper tantrum, by spoiled brats who are bitter over not getting their way. The proper way to deal with any temper tantrum is not to reward brats by caving in to their demands, or electing them to office.

Deadpool, How Disney can make the next movie.

There is some thinking that the studio that gave us “The Last Jedi”, would never do a sequel to the  “Deadpool” movie. On a budget of  58 million, Deadpool’s box office is 783.1 Million. On a budget of 200 Million The Last Jedi has returned 1.329 Billion, so clearly the social justice infused Last Jedi, is the more sucessful film.That is understandable, to be honest, Deadpool is simply not woke enough for Disney, which would rather make films that fight for social justice.

   But that doesn’t mean Disney couldn’t make a sequel to Deadpool, if they simply made some changes, that would mean a more socially relevant film. In the first place, drop Ryan Reynolds. Instead, hire Will Smith or Eddie Murphy to play the character. Let the fans of the character complain. Most of his fans are cis males, who play video games in their parents basement, so who cares what they think? Next the story. Have the character, who is now named Daway Wilson, go for cancer treatment; but unknowingly have him being treated to a secret experiment by the patriarchy, that doesn’t cure his cancer, but gives him immortality. The plot could be that he has to stop an alliance between Donald Trump and the NRA, which plans to have a group of white males in their 30′s shoot up elementary schools.

If such a film is made, sure it will upset the fans, but so did Ghostbusters(2016), and that film made nearly twice it’s budget back, so it was very successful. And let’s face it, if you don’t want to see this film, you are no doubt a racist person who plays video-games, who is part of the patriarchy.
