My daughter Iman is still living with pain far greater than her age. Her foot injury requires delicate surgical treatment that is no longer available inside Gaza, after the healthcare system was completely destroyed. There is simply no real possibility to treat her here.

Doctors have confirmed that any delay poses a serious risk to her ability to walk in the future, and that the only solution is a medical referral for treatment outside Gaza. The organization following her case has requested additional medical tests as an essential part of the referral file, and every step forward has become harder than the one before.
