@pollencounting
i love vanillas who know whatās up
Tfw you have a really obscure blorbo that you know Snzblr would go absolutely nuts over but youāre facing an uphill battle because currently the only media where your blorbo has the most amount of screen time is the one where heās a child so itās a bit of a hard sell
@pollencounting YOU YOU UNDERSTAND
However because I am insufferably pedantic allow me to just clarify a couple things
In the current canon heās roughly about 600 years old give or take depending on what point in the timeline youāre at
The Dofus cartoon and the Dofus movie show him at 7 and 10 years old respectively. Heās more of a side character in the cartoon but in the movie heās been upgraded to full blown protagonist
There is an upcoming series that is supposed to come out later this year that basically continues his story a couple decades after the events of the movie
He doesnāt just take care of the reincarnations of his uncles; only one of them is his uncle and the other is his own adopted father who died right in front of him when he was a child. This guy had to become a full time parent at the age of 10. Thankfully it is strongly implied that they do retain their memories from their previous lives but itās still fucked
He is maaaagic. Or at least he comes from a magical family. But he is almost never shown actually using magic for whatever reason.
Anyway that is all. Pls watch Dofus Book 1: Julith it is absolute peak cinema. I love you ā„ļø
someone walking outside during spring and immediately sneezing

In my infinite wisdom as a human being, Iāve known about this for so long & have had access to it two separate times, yet never shared it. Smart.
Anyway, hereās your daily fix of Catherine Tate in the infamous scene as Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing. The sneezes are apparently not always a touch included in the show, but I LOVE how they were put in.
I also could have just whittled it down to the good stuff but I rly like these exchanges & thought it wouldnāt make sense without the context ok
Yesss and this is the BEST version of this play tooā¦
Imagine getting jumpscared by your own post from your old blog in the year of our lord 2026. Couldnāt be me! This is still peak.
I WAS DOOMSCROLLING AS PER, AND GOT ABSOLUTELY JUMPSCARED:
OH MY FUCKING GOD, IT GETS WORSE
Actually these tags are going in the main body of the post.
You know why? Somebody else pointed this out and it should be repeated:
alt text for easier reading but again, sorry for making a post like this and I'll go back to normal posting soon just wanted to reach out in hopes something changes
nasal endoscopy is, obviously, hot. i think in general when we tend to think of the inside of the nose we get some abstract idea of pink flesh with maybe some hair and some mucus stringing alone. it's a complete other animal to actually see inside someone's nose. i don't think most people realize how much hair is actually up there lol
& also nasal endoscopy is doubly hot when the tool used to do it is, in fact, making you sneeze as well
Someone who their partner can tell is HEALTHIER because of their sneezes.
When they first met, the person had small, fittish, exhausting sneezes that left them breathless and extremely congested, but that didnāt relieve them at all because they just didnāt have it in them to sneeze in a way that would.
But after a few months of good meals, more rest, reminders to shower, and plenty of cuddling, itās like they sneeze like a completely different person. Strong, to-the-point, hitting a distance with their spray ā it surprises both of them, even now.
L/OHEN WHAT THE FUCK
the concept of spritzing your wrists with perfume and then when someone courteously goes to kiss your hand they end up sneezing from the perfume scent instead
To anyone that ever thought about a robot/cyborg/ai character getting a sneezy cold through a computer virus, remember this:
You can PROGRAM a computer virus. Which means you can CONTROL how the virus is gonna affect them.
You can make them suddenly develop allergies to things they didnāt before. You can make their system believe there is always some debris in their ventilation system while thereās not. You can make them so sensitive that slightly colder air passing through their vents is going to set them off, or you can block the sneeze response entirely (but keep the irritation sensation or even increase it) so their vents would be endlessly irritated with no ways of relief.
Remember
If they are sick with YOUR virus, then they are completely at YOUR mercy.
Depending on your setting, your artificial friends are either built on a standard (assembly line robots with detailed technical documents on their construction, functions, and operating system) or they're each unique and purpose built.
In the former? Well, you have a detailed list of every single thing that makes them tick, including their nose and their sneeze reflex. You can gain an intimate understanding of all of the programming and engineering involved, and in that light, find vulnerabilities and exploits to inject whatever you want and abuse your knowledge to make them as helplessly sneezy as you want with your malware. And then it's easily scalable--because it works on one, it works on everyone of that model.
In the latter? Well, it'll take a little more elbow grease and a whole lot more tinkering and screwing up before you get there, including parsing probably 200 lines of uncommented code because the overworked programmer who was hired to write the sneeze function script couldn't be bothered to do it properly. Lots more experimentation. "False starts" in more than one sense of the word. But as you go along, you gain a much deeper, more intimate, more dense understanding of exactly what makes them tick. It's uncharted territory, and you're making the map. Where's it lead?
Uh, them sneezing a bunch. Duh.
feverish telekinetic character using their powers to literally keep away a would-be caretaker, either from checking their forehead or from getting near them at all, esp if theyāre worried theyāll lose control of their powers
hi this isn't a problem I've really seen on snzblr but just in case. this blog loves and cherishes trans women and transfems and if you aren't a transfeminist my stuff isn't for you
the soft bristles of a feather, twirling and dancing along a thin septum before snaking inside the twitching flare of a widening nostrilā¦.
Damn babe, I could get lost in those nostrils š
Bad news: the sickieās mucus is just way too sticky and strong inside their nose and they are too weak to sneeze or blow them out om their own.
Good news: since their mucus is so stiff their partner could just grab one end of it with a tissue and pull the rest out manually like a rope.
Bad news: turns out the mucus is much longer than expected, and pulling it causes pressure change in the nose. That tops with the sensation of something climbing inside their nasal cavity made this an extremely uncomfortable and itchy experience for the sickie.
Good news: their partner isnāt gonna care about their whining and would make sure nothing gets in their way of clearing the sickieās nose.
