Person who goes to take a sip of a carbonated drink, but the bubbles tickle their nose and trigger an unexpected sneeze. Bonus points if they spill the drink.
Similarly, someone who doesn't drink anything fizzy because they know from experience their nose is just too sensitive to risk it.
Someone whose sneezes are literally teasing them.
They are in the middle of something, they need to sneeze. And after they do so, they wait a moment until the need to sneeze dies down.
But the moment they get back to work, the sneeze comes back to tickle their nose, causing them to have to pause again. After this time, they rub their nose and wait again. Nothing.
So they go back to work, and surprise surprise, they need to sneeze, again. They sniff and rub their nose, look down at their work, and decide to just get up and get a tissue
Someone grabbing a tissue in anticipation of needing it eventually, but they fiddle with it so much that by the time they do need it — urgently — it’s been reduced to a useless pile of shreds.
telling someone a story and they look like they aren’t paying attention, staring off blankly. you give them a look of disapproval and they catch your gaze. “sorry,” they say sheepishly, and you notice their eyes are watering. “I really have to sneeze.”
B trying to get A’s temperature, but the moment they put the thermometer in their mouth, A needs to sneeze.
After B yanks out the thermometer, and when A no longer looks like they are on the verge of another sneeze, B puts the thermometer back and tells A’s nose to control itself this time.
Someone feeling sad and out of sorts and not knowing why UNTIL they start sniffling and sneezing.
i was shaken to my very core when I found out some people sneeze multiples times from inducing once… and tbh I think it’s up there with the hottest things ever…

Someone who just came inside after realizing they shouldn’t have gone outside.
Nose red, eyes streaming, nostrils widening as they take in more breaths for sneezes.
Their top is covered in mess that has been, and still is, dripping down their nose. They try to sniff some of it back up, but that only seems to shift the allergen in their nose to new tickly locations.
There is no way they can reach any sort of tissue or cover in time with the way this itch overtakes them. Through squinted eyes, they try to find something. Even if they are indoors now, they can’t even think of sneezing so unabashedly. And as they look down, they notice their spray stained shirt/dress/top.
I mean, the top of it is already drenched, a little more on the bottom won’t hurt. And just as they let out their last hitch, they pull the cloth to their nose, expelling the allergen along with the floods previously contained within their nose. They wipe their nose on the cloth and groan
(Bonus points if their partner could only watch completely flushed when they came in)
(Extra bonus points if there was still some pollen or other allergen stuck to their clothes that likely just got into their nose because of this)
a person who regularly sneezes in fits/multiples who just. tries so hard to not have that be A Thing. tries to appear casual and unbothered when these fits happen (and they happen a lot) and to get them over with as quickly as possible so that it passes without comment. only the people around them can’t help but Comment On It
When it finally gets bad enough that they say “I think I need to lay down for a bit.” Tentative, a little meek, testing the waters—seeing if nobody will put up any opposition to the idea.
my brain: "oh, i like this character. i wonder what their sneezes would sound like and how they'd look, sound and act when they have a big miserable snotty cold."
You know what I love? A chesty, rough sneeze. One that sounds like it echoes off the ribcage and rattles things around. Mmm, yeah. That's the shit.

I love when someone is just rubbing and rubbing and rubbing at their nose before they sneeze. It’s one thing knowing that their nose is itchy enough to make them sneeze, but to see them trying to manage it physically leading up to that point makes it that much sexier imo.
someone getting watery-eyed and sniffly as soon as they go anywhere old. Libraries, antique shops, secondhand stores. Guaranteed one sneeze after ten minutes of rummaging. Even just looking at dusty old books or cobwebbed clocks gets their nose twitching.
