There you were again in the Moonbucks around the corner. Studying.
You had to hand in your Literature assignment before it was too late. You bit into your sandwich, typing away.
Fortunately, you were the only one in the store since you came close to closing hours.
“What’s the assignment this time?” Your usual barista, Kazunari, walks to your table with two cups of coffee in his hands.
“Analysis of Shakespeare…” You muttered. “It’s due tomorrow and I can’t do it last minute… I have to meet up with a friend…”
He hands you the cup. “Take it easy. I don’t want you fainting again.”
“I know,” You curled up, bringing your knees up and sipping on the cup.
“Besides I’d rather you fall for me instead of your assignment,” He said, winking.
You almost had a spit take, “Stop it!”
“I’m just teasing~” He said. “Or am I~”
You threw the pillow behind your back at him. “I thought you had more lady friends to do this with.”
He finished his drink. “I told you, I’d win you over. Don’t shoo me like that.”
“Then don’t swoon me like that,” You said.
He went back to his work station. “You should head home. It’s getting late. I could always escort you.”
“I’m fine,” You said, smiling.
You finished your drink but before you could dump it, you noticed a message.
