coffi, also known as DJ DI-VI-US, is a club DJ known for her carefree asf attitude and flashy outfits she makes herself. at the height of her popularity, she suddenly left the scene on sabbatical due to a personal emergency. a year later, she finally felt well enough to return, but her bodyguard had decided to retire. she didn't really care who the new guy was, as long as they could do their job. but she wasn't expecting this new one to be so funny and charming..

wade, on the other hand, is a man who's trying to run away from his past in new york to remake his life in florida. in fact, he goes through great lengths to secure it, even putting down his mask and picking up a hat, instead. he hears of a job to bodyguard some celebrity girl that paid well, and hell, he'd done it before with dazzler. it shouldn't be hard. unfortunately, the past doesn't always stay where you left it.

the two of them really get each other, similar humor, ways of speaking and talking. as they get to know each other more and more, coffi realizes he's tied to her past in a way she would've ever thought.
