“So, it does seem like the old man Boreas of the North Wind, and his daughter, the snow goddess, Khione had always been this crazy mad.”
“Oh yeah, I heard that he always angry all the time and the foulest tempered of them all! Maybe even more than that of my uncle, Poseidon when I was little…”
Personal illustration for an Ancient Greek Dionysian winter. Apollo, sadly, didn’t come to join Dionysia yet, because he had to go to Hyperborea early, with his sister, Artemis. And also since the northern wind Boreas and his daughter, Khione had already covered the whole of Greece in snow, these younger Olympians had to take refuge and have a small celebrating feast within the small shrine of Dionysus.
