Trying to work out a character design for Dr. Valus (you know, this guy:)

...in case I ever want to draw him in something, I guess? Normally I don't really like working with characters that don't have a canon design, but TNT answered my Editorial question and I can't let it go to waste <(ònó)/

I wanted to give him kind of a gentle look...of course, anything about his personality is going to be pure headcanon, since dear Nurse Lucy was quite perceptive but unfortunately not very descriptive. "Charming" is all well and good, but that doesn't really tell us much D:

(I wasn't sure whether to give him shorter and chubbier legs like most Scorchios seem to have, or longer, skinnier legs like the skeleton seems to have (uh, have had...). In the end I couldn't choose, but I also realized it's not like I can draw characters consistently enough for it to actually matter :P)

Do the toes look weird on Rutu? All the pictures of barefoot Poogles I've found show them with flat, nubby feet, but I tried drawing her feet like that and it just looked kinda weird :S
