about poolclan
poolclan is one of four clans located alongside the pacific shore of the western united states. it is named for the sandy strips that extend into the vast waves, though the cats call the tidepools their true home. they have claimed this territory for generations- but a once powerful clowder has fallen on hard times after a devastating greencough outbreak, leaving few healthy survivors.
about the cats
the elderly cowriestar (previously known as cowriesplash) took over in the moons following the greencough outbreak. hoping to rebuild his once great clan to its former state, he assigned the young warrior scorchtrail to the deputy position, hoping her ambition and daring would guide the clan into the right direction. they are joined by ochreears, the clan's healer, whose expertise prevented the survivors from succumbing to illness.
