And then Birdie complimented me on my outfit and asked if she could take a picture for Dolly!!! Then she also took a card (my prized Daddy Push painting) for Nigel Coan!!!! I CAN’T EVEN BELIEVE THIS JUST HAPPENED! Oh, not to mention I got interrogated by Boombox!?!¡!¡!!! AAAAAAHHHHHH!!!

Dondylion and the Loose Tapestries had a skiing adventure in Colorado’s Rocky Mountains today! They played in the snow, inspected my equipment for safety, waved to new friends on the chairlifts, and zoomed down 16,000 vertical feet of mountain trails (in the snuggled safety of my coat pocket).

Off on a grand adventure

Okay, so. I start my journey to Chicago first thing in the morning, so I won’t be around much tomorrow, probably, for obvious reasons.

I am filled with a million emotions and am a bundle of nerves, trying not to forget anything, and I am so preoccupied with not forgetting anything that earlier, I nearly threw my underpants and socks in the garbage, rather than the laundry hamper.

But I am hanging onto this: at this time tomorrow, I will be with Cully. And one day after that, we’ll be seeing Noel live, together, for the very first time.

Pretty good motivators, those. This is going to be so FUN. I can’t wait.
