How I think Sylvanas would have confronted Alleria about her embracing the void if she were to be the Warchief :
"Enough with your hypocrisy, sister.
You speak of judgment and righteousness — as if the words still mean something coming from you.
You had a choice. I never did.
I stood alone defending our homeland while you were off chasing whispers across the stars.
Tell me… did the void sing you lullabies while our people burned? Even in death, I was denied the honor I had earned.
I was tormented — twisted into this hollow vessel, a mockery of what I once was. I thought ending Arthas would bring peace… would silence the hatred that consumed me.
But peace is a comfort for the living, is it not?
Even in death, my fate is not my own. My afterlife — just another cruel jest for powers beyond our knowing.
But you — you embraced the void with open arms.
And now you dare to stand there, wrapped in whispers, judging me?
I did not choose this existence — I mastered it. I forged purpose from ruin; I did what I had to, for those who could not choose at all.
While you forged excuses. I have carried the weight of a people. You carry only your vanity — glittering, like the void that owns you.
So tell me, sister… what makes your reason more noble than mine?"
I am still so sad with the turn they took with Sylvanas, Alleria is like the boring version of her. No hate on Alleria, what I mean is that, they didn't need to discard Sylvanas if they were going to add another 'morally gray' elf regardless. And I really hate the hypocrisy between the 'void' and the 'undead'.
While writing this, I used 'Edge of the Midnight' short story and 'Three Sisters' comic as my sources of inspiration. If you haven't read them, I highly recommend you to do so 💖
