Just remembering the Bridgestone Eurasia.

2016 is my last post if you can see and then jump to 2019, well things not very productive on cycling during 2017-2018, even some of the live events has a miss fortune this and that. But am that’s not going to stop me...
Anyway I sold my Bridgestone Eurasia to a decent man, he’s an avid rider (I can tell), and then I purchase a Miyata 714, it’s a combination of road-touring brazing on alumunium and chromoly... hell yea. Good bargain, got it from a good friend Tizar.
OK, NEXT....
WEW...GOSH IT’S BEEN A WHILE!
YEA... not sure why that i didn’t post anything here, maybe it’s because of Instagram, shit... I missed this, I miss blogging, I miss all of my tumbler accounts.
Well, i think am going to start again on my cycling page.
;)
Bogor ride - 06022016.
After a long week absence to long distance ride, I managed to initiate a group ride to Bogor, and the respond went well. 9 persons join the group ride Risky, Ryan, Deryl, Chiko, Deddy, Om Jokky, Avid and a new kid Iyuk.
The next morning in Mcd PI for meeting point, from the night I watch the weather report it’s going to be cloudy in the morning and raining in the afternoon.
6am sharp we start heading to depok and an hour and half later we arrived at Buitenzorg (the origin name of Bogor, the rainy city) it’s located around 50km from Jakarta, known for it’s asinan and roti unyil (really small bread - taste damn good!)
We refuel in Bakmi Nieki - known for it’s classic taste around the locals. It’s too plain for me, different that what we used to eat in Jakarta (mostly chinese from other part of Indonesia) and after that none better than look for a hip coffee place - called Popolo (the joint reminds me of Jakarta’ but it’s bigger).
After that Deryl decides to follow us to Bogor A.L.O.N.E. On his KHS fixed gear, and unfortunately he got several cramp, so he decides to use ojek to lead him. And on our way back home he also got the same trouble (raised the white flag - and uses Grab car to go home half of the ride).
The rest of the group had to push trough a hard rain starting from depok - margonda and the traffic is shit as hell, fuck!
To summarized, it’s one of the best ride I ever had in my life ;)
Bicycling raddest cover ever!!! Features a four legged furry...
Today's slow ride menu: catching the rain, chicken noodle & coffee. Rain just doesn't stop that sunday, so we push it trough and it was good, heading for Alok's chicken noodle (a puurfect mixture). And a stop at the one of the oldest post office in batavia.
Loyal companion, have been trough many looks and style. Steel is real.
R.I.P.
Very sad day it is. David Bowie, has been inside my life since child hood.
see you in another life.

The first 100k Gran fondo strava unlock. Me and @odeqoo managed to push harder this morning trough the jungle of tangerang city. My track is Tanah kusir - Bintaro - Graha - Alam sutra - Summarecon - Legong - Karawaci and back push it to Tanamera ahmad dahlan, just to get the miles enough for 100k.
Damn it was hot at the end, after we stretch our legs and fine local coffee we managed to go home via uber (no need to push to much today). An achievement that we believe we can do it, its just a matter of willingness and strategy. braaaaaap!
2016!
Last sunday ride 2015 (part 2). Here's some pics from the second check point near old town Fatahillah, some intresting on the way there, suddenly the traffic is bad at near senayan, shit just got worse that we had to re-route. Got some serious speed on the way to rawamangun (chasing those carbon riders) In the groups we can see some steel, carbon, alumunium, and titanium enthusiast, making this a fun time to watch them pedal. Don't forget those fixie riders are way fast, damn! After the second check point pedaling became slow, getting tired and am waiting for Indra, Dimpol & Ryan. Indra & Ryan got a chance to stop and noodles ceremony, me and Dimpol just grab a cheap bread at Indomart, to refuel. The final stop is back to Citos, my strava shows around 75km already, push it to stop in Citos, so maybe the final pedal to my house is around 80km, not bad oy. I had a good time with good friends. Cheers.
Last sunday ride 2015 (part 1).
Went to starting point with Risky, Chiko, Deddy and meet Indra, Ryan & Dimpol at the pack. The start begins 6.30 morning (late) but thank God its a cloudy day. Here some of the starting point till first check point at menara dea (mega kuningan).
