So MF may have left us way too soon, but last we heard, Albert Rosenfield is still alive and kicking… so what better way to remember the actor than by coming together to celebrate the character that he helped create, and whom we all love?

When: This Sunday, March 19th (the 2-month anniversary of Miguel’s death).

Problems i have with Twin Peaks

why is the whole town cheating on each other? literally two relationships in the show are “healthy” all the rest are terrible what the fuucckk. im done with the straights in twin peaks they keep having sex behind their partner’s back and just why? bobby and laura are dating but bobby is in love with shelly whos married to leo and laura is also dating james whos also in love with donna and Catherine and donna was dating snake and just what the actual shit is wrong with this town the only solution in my head is for twin peaks to have a giant orgy and just stop. the only non problematic cinnamon roll is agent dale cooper and i love him. ok bye

I don’t have the energy to run through the checklist of examples but the common theme is people being stuck in bad situations, struggling to escape them and ending flat on their butts back where they began because they don’t really know better. Look for what each character was looking for in their official partner, what went wrong, and what they look for in their new relationship (and what’s wrong there). There are clear patterns. A portrayal of humanity at its worst, but still a compassionate and rather accurate one, I think.

in the drafts of the scripts there are noticeable changes from canon. Harry’s name is originally Dan Steadman etc but Albert’s name has always been Albert Rosenfield (originally Rosenthal but same thing) 

A distinction he shares with Coop of course. Coop’s always been D.B. Cooper

on set David Lynch would refer to Miguel Ferrer as Albert, which ??? I don’t think I’ve ever heard him do for any other actor/character

An FBI agent tries to piece together the existence of an absent Twin Peaks citizen. Sounds familiar? The setup sounds a lot like a gender-swapped Coop-Laura dynamic, so all I’m saying is I wouldn’t be too surprised if they ran with it.

Double points if the author is SOMEHOW some version of Coop.
