The night was quiet, signaling the end of Dunster village's festivities. Simon passed through the lit cobblestone street. The tavern, once large and bright, shrunk in the horizon the size of Boota. The pigmole could easily eclipse it like the moon over the sun. The duo were nearing the edge of Dunster village. Villagers closing down their homes and businesses with shut windows and flickering lights. The day was over, perfectly in sync with the end of his stay here. Onto the next. Boota sat calmly on Simon's shoulder, sniffing around.

"Wait!"

A voice boomed through, rupturing the tranquility. Simon didn't turn around. He didn't need to, because he knew who it was. He stopped, boots over the old pavement that had been walked over thousands of times.

Nakim held on to his knees, panting. The kid was quite fast to have caught up to him, Simon mused.

"Where are you... going?"

Update on The Last Spin
