No Species Comparison: Do not compare one closed species to another. Similarities do not imply copying, and no one can claim exclusive rights to a trait. Avoid discussions like "x copying traits from y."

Positive Suggestions Welcome: Feel free to suggest closed species you enjoy. However, avoid blatant self-promotion, especially if you're the owner of a species. This blog is not for promotional purposes.

Other things that are allowed is: hyping up species events, launches, adoptable batches, etc. Anything that brings positivity.

Bottle Bodies were one of the first CS I ever joined

They're somewhat dead now, but I have hope the species could come back

I absolutely love the idea of them and I think they're just all around pretty neat

Honestly just wish I had been more active while the species was busy

Cloakats are so cool

The fact that the arms are purposefully extra long and the characters don't have eyes make them a species thats really good for experimenting, as it's less of a worry to make sure everything "looks right"

It's also not as difficult as I thought it'd be to get an MYO. Especially if you do the monthly prompts and gift art

All in all, a really cool species

Luminites are so cool! I love the black holes present on designs and how the species is fox based as opposed to just cat or dog

Plus it's really easy to get myos and trait items

Nebulruffs was one of the first closed species I was able to get fully into

I really loved closed species when I was starting out because they showed me what I could do with elements of a design to make something cool and interesting

Still have a bunch of Nebulruffs because of how much that species means to me, even if it isn't the most original or well structured. I still love it dearly

I absolutely adore Magimites! Its definitely a smaller cs, but I appreciate having a species like that to participate in

It feels a lot more welcoming and less overwhelming, especially if someone has little cs experience

They do events semi-regularly, but they don't feel overwhelming in scope and I always want to participate :3

Succubuds are such a cool species. I love all the variation each character can have while still looking like a Succubud.

They definitely stand on their own, even if they're going through a rough patch rn.

Looking forward to when the species is doing better :)

I'm whole heartedly enjoying my time in Riddle of Bronze (18+)!!! I'm all for minors being in CS but I do also need spaces with other adults in it from time to time. The designs people are cooking up are so tasty and the LK, while a work in progress, is actually really nice.

Pacapillars is long past its prime but the species is still so enjoyable and is such a cool environment to be in. Been here for several years and don't plan to leave anytime soon!

the takemon CS has a new owner and it looks like thyre going good again like they have updated the faq n got new mods n seems like thyre workin on lore at last and thy updated the th profile

Shout out to the Taiyakifins cs for being so welcoming!! As the first cs I've ever made a character for, I felt like there was a community of other ppl who all cared about their sillies just as much as I did & the staff was very supportive.

+ It was sm fun to brainstorm with other artists!!!
