SNOQUALMIE FALLS seen from Highway 10 near Seattle, Washington. One of the largest in the U.S., the falls are 268 feet high with a flow in a spring of about 16,000 feet per second. The name is an Indian word which means Moon People.

"At the head of Show Street was Gracie Hansen’s Paradise International, a plush 700-seat theater restaurant. It offered four shows a night, described as 'extravagant production numbers featuring the world’s most beautiful girls, interspersed with internationally renowned specialty performers.'"
