Yukimura

When he's pining for your love and you've yet to become a couple, he manages to flawlessly hides it. Especially if you're already attached at the moment. He doesn't want to hinder your relationship with your current significant other - but if they hurt you and you end up leaving them, he'll be there to pick up the pieces of your broken heart.

In the event that he's pining for your love because there are circumstances on his side which doesn't allow him to date, I think he would be the type who will hold himself back, because he thinks that it’s unfair on you if he can't commit 100% to the relationship. When it's the other way around, I'm fairly certain he'll respect your decision and will wait on you until you're ready.

When you're already officially together though, he won’t mind expressing it openly, or at the very least he will absolutely drop some hints about how he feels like you haven't been spending enough time together lately. If you're in a long distance relationship, he'll try his best to free up a few days so he can go see you in person, but Yukimura has the patience to wait most of the time; they say distance makes the heart grow fonder after all.

On the other hand, when you're the one pining for his love, he'll probably somewhat notice to an extent. I say probably because this boy is a popular one, so there are lots of people pining for his attention and love, so there's a chance that you'll be lost in that sea of admirer. If he's already interested in you however, I don't think you'll be pining for too long, since he's going to be actively seeking you out (though when you're finally together you better believe he's so going to tease you about it every now and then).

"You know, I remember when you used to give me those lovestruck eyes.... Haha, you looked so cute back then. Hmm? Of course, you're still just as adorable now, with those pouty lips," he chuckles as he leans down to give you a quick kiss.

Sanada

When he's pining for your love and you've yet to become a couple (and especially when you're already attached), he actively tries to not let it disturb his life, and he does this by immersing himself in tennis / kendo / committee work more than usual. It'll take a lot of encouragement from his closest friends and some significant events to get him to accept that he's hopelessly in love and to get him to do something about it (if you're not dating someone already).

In the event that he's pining for your love because there are circumstances on his side which doesn't allow him to date, he's definitely not going to do anything about it until he has settled things on his side. If it's the other way around, he has the willpower and patience for it, so he will wait for you.

When you're already officially together, Sanada makes it a priority to spend time with you, so I don't think there would be any pining from either one of you. I can't really see him having long distance relationships because although he has the willpower and determination, he's fairly traditional and he values being able to spend time with you in person.

On the other hand, when you're the one pining for his love, he wouldn't exactly notice. He'll just wonder why you're giving him those looks and why do you look like you're so happy to see him around when most people are intimidated instead. In the case of him having an interest in you, he'll take your actions as a positive feedback and make a conscious effort to see if things can go further between the two of you.

"W-What's wrong? Did something happen?" He's clearly surprised and at the same time concerned with the sudden and unusually tight hug you're giving him, and he's even more perplexed at your answer, "... You missed me? Even though we spent the weekend together? ..... I suppose we can have lunch together today."

Kirihara

When he's pining for your love and you've yet to become a couple, he's fairly obvious about it. He'll regularly seek you out, clearly tries to show off whenever you're around, and takes the extra mile to keep you by his side even just a second longer. If you're not single, he'll either keep you around and treating you the same way, or he'll push you away altogether because having you around while knowing that you won't see him the way he sees you, hurts him a lot.

In the event that he's pining for your love because there are circumstances on his side which doesn't allow him to date, he'll still try his damnedest to try and bulldoze through it. The same thing happens when it's the other way around - if it doesn't exactly work out, he'll sulk and perhaps get angry over it, but in the end he'll understand that it's your decision and he'll respect it.

When you're already officially together, he'll barge into your house whenever he misses you if he has to. He won't be patient enough to sit around waiting. You might find it a little annoying at times, but that's just how Kirihara is. Because of this, long distance relationship could be a hit or miss with him. He generally will be actively keeping in touch with you, though when he really really misses you, he might unexpectedly just turn up at your door...

On the other hand, when you're the one pining for his love, he could be oblivious about it unless you're expressing your interest openly or is fairly open about it. Not gonna lie, he'll be pretty proud of himself for it at first, and who knows, if he finds you interesting he might just return your feelings.

"Yo, [First_Name]! You're not replying to my messages, so I came to check on you - what is it you're working on that's more important than hanging out with me? It's the weekend! We haven’t gone out in weeks! Let's go out and have some fun!!"

Hi there! Um, I'd like to clarify something since I noticed people have been 'welcoming back' me / the blog: this blog is completely new! I used to have scenarios blogs last time but I've never written for POT fandom before! So if you used to visit a blog with this same name, I just want to inform you that I'm not the same person with whoever used to run the scenarios blog under this name until it was deleted. Sorry for any confusion!

Anyway, here you go, I hope this is ok ♡ 

Tezuka

Hiking and camping (especially on the mountains) are his favorite dates and he thinks it's plenty romantic because 1) a lot of opportunities to just sit down and have long, deep conversations, and 2) when night comes, the air typically becomes colder so you always end up asking to snuggle with him (and he secretly loves it) and lastly 3) he loves to just stargaze under the bright stars, with you laying beside him and pointing at the constellations while telling each other stories from your childhoods.

If you have interest in fishing, he'll gladly invite you to a fishing trip! It won't necessarily be a romantic date, but just indulge him, ok? If you're new in the whole fishing as a hobby, he'll patiently teach you all you need to know about it, starting from the beginning. With time, as you get better, he would secretly get a little competitive about who can catch the bigger fish.

Stay-in dates with Tezuka usually consists of silently reading books together, watching some movies, cooking for dinner and having dinner together, doing light stretching exercises together - just some simple spending time together. He might do something special for you from time to time, or whenever there's a special occasion for celebration. In those cases, he wouldn't mind splurging a bit by taking you out to a fancy restaurant or booking a skiing trip for the two of you.

"I don't say this enough, but... Being able to spend time with you like this, it feels like a dream. Thank you for being here. I'm grateful to have you on my side."

Atobe

Oh boy. Romantic dates are his specialty. He knows how to set the mood and he knows the right words to say to make you swoon. The moment you exit your front door, he's the perfect escort to wherever you're going. He compliments your attire (even if you're just wearing a simple hoodie), places a kiss on your hand, and throughout the date he'll make you feel like you're a descendant of some sort of royalty.

He prefers to be out and about, surrounded by people who can cater to your needs and makes sure your date is flawless. Candle-lit dinners. Amusement parks. Boating. Going to watch musicals or operas. Overseas or domestic travelling. It'll be up to you to suggest simpler dates like staying in to watch movies (instead of him renting out a whole theatre) or having a picnic for just the two of you and a homemade meal (instead of having butlers and maids waiting on you while you're eating finger food made by Michelin starred chefs).

Stay-in dates with Atobe aren't exactly normal, in the sense that he prefers to spend it at his mansion, which is full of butlers and maids catering to your every needs anyway. Still, he wouldn't say no if you invite him to your abode. He won't complain too much, since it's a new experience for him and he's discovering some new things in exchange - like how unexpectedly pleasant it feels when you're drying his hair with your mid priced hairdryer (it makes the drying time longer than he's used to, but your shampoo smells so good and your fingers feels heavenly while they’re combing through his hair).

"What kind of date should we do next? How about renting a cruise ship on our summer break? Ah, but that's too far ahead, huh? That reminds me, there's a private charity gala coming up and I think you'll be interested in the cause - should we attend it?"

Sanada

When it comes him, it's quite rare for you two to have a typical 'romantic' date, because Sanada himself isn't a consciously romantic person in general. His style of romancing you is by being traditionally chivalrous: opening doors, making sure you're not walking on the side of the road, making sure you're comfortable before anything, etc. But this is his original self; he doesn't try to be chivalrous, it's just his upbringing and personality.

For him, romantic dates = dates where you're spending quality time with each other, preferably in private. He isn't much of a talker so it could be hard to start conversations, but I feel like Sanada could be talkative when he's already way more comfortable with you and when it comes to things he truly cares about. You'll find yourself falling into deep conversations with him, especially regarding things like your personal beliefs, your values, and what you stand (or doesn't) stand for. He can go from "So... What's... Your favorite color?" to "At a glance, some traditions look meaningless to us who are living in this century, however I personally think there is an interesting lore behind every tradition that could become a learning experience for us, much like history - but what do you think?"

Stay-in dates with Sanada wouldn't happen unless you're some way later in your relationship, but it's going to be an interesting adventure for you if you've never lived in traditional Japanese houses! He especially loves it when it's after dinner on a cool summer night, and you both sit out on the engawa facing the inner garden, just enjoying each other's company while listening to the sound of the cicadas. There’s also just something about seeing you in the morning, dressed in a yukata and smiling sleepily at him at the breakfast table, that makes him feel all warm and content.

"Did you enjoy today's date? I didn't think going to an amusement parks would be such an enjoyable experience, but seeing you having so much fun was pleasant to witness."

Atobe

Did you say you want a flower? Have some roses dipped in gold. Did you say you want to eat at that newest restaurant that just opened in town? Would you look at that, the whole restaurant is now empty because it's been rented out so you and Atobe can eat peacefully. Did you admire that bracelet on the display of your favorite store last weekend? Huh, what a coincidence, you just somehow received a box with a whole set of jewelry including the very same bracelet.

Atobe is fairly open with his interest. Unless you're really dense, you will know that you're treated differently than others. But then again, he could be very dramatic and exceptionally kind to the people he cares about, so there's also the doubt of 'am I special or this is just how he treats his good friends?'

This man likes a challenge, so even if you're not particularly interested in him or if you just dismiss his approach as just him being friendly, he won't back down that easily. In fact, I can see him just doubling down on his advances. He will however, reconsider and back off if you're clearly intimidated by his attention.

"To be able to make me this flustered... A commendable feat, [First_Name]..... However, don't think this ore-sama is backing down. You will fall into ore-sama's arms soon enough."

Yukimura

Gives you a plant from his collection. Uses it as an excuse to visit you on weekends because "I need to see how well you're taking care of my little one". Also uses it as a conversation starter topic, in which he will then turn into a long pleasant chat.

A healthy dose of phone calls or texts! Whenever he is busy with tennis practice, or it's the season for tournaments, or mainly whenever he doesn't exactly get to see you that often, he actively keeps in touch with you by texts and calls. His teammates knows not to disturb him when he texts or excuses himself for a call.

Yukimura is gentle but forward in his approach. Kind of like Atobe, but he’s way less extra about it. He makes his interest known by how often he seeks you out and his ambiguously flirty remarks he casually throws every now and then. It'll make you wonder whether he's serious or not, but on the other hand, Yukimura doesn't seem like he's the type who would joke about these kind of things.

"This weekend, you have time, right? Won't you give it to me? I have something in mind. I promise you'll enjoy it."

You have nothing planned and so you agree without much thought. For a moment the thought of 'is it a date?' flashes through your mind, but Yukimura is generally friendly towards everyone, so you don't want to think too far into things, lest you disappoint yourself.

"Haha, thank you. Then, it's a date. I'll see you on Saturday."

Shiraishi

Another one that secretly likes the chase lol If I remembered right, it's canon that he's not so into 'carnivorous' people, so gaining his interest will probably take some time. But the moment he's feeling that attraction, he'll start testing out the waters.

When he sees that you're having positive feedbacks to his advances though, it's full-on frontal attacks for him, so be prepared for that! Small talks when you pass each other in the hallways, lunching together, weekend dates, teasing remarks here and there, all the classic textbook approach, he's doing it.

While Shiraishi is really kind towards you, he also strategizes well. He keeps you rather close even before you two are officially dating - so much that everyone thinks you're a couple already. He also wouldn't go out of his way to deny other people's assumptions unless you look downright uncomfortable being referred as his significant other.

"My dream for the future? Let's see... I don't know yet exactly what career I would be pursuing, but I know that I want you to be always by my side until our hair turns white."

Bonus:

"Eh? But Shiraishi-san, your hair is already kind of white-ish."

Ok you're right, he's probably going to go through the denial stage first because he's just awkward and quite inexperienced in this whole 'romantic attraction' situation.

But the more time you spend with him, the more he gets used to your presence, and before he knows it he's very soft when it comes to you. He still maintains his 'stern' face and all, but his actions shows clearly that he's more cautious than usual when dealing with you, almost as if he's afraid that you'll run away when he makes you uncomfortable. Because of this, you might think that he doesn't like you / isn’t comfortable being with you... But he’s not!! I promise!! Just keep spending time with him!!

His friends will definitely take a lot of part in trying to get the two of you together!! Yukimura invites you to lunch with them together often. Yanagi drops some hints every now and then about your interests or the popular date spots lately. And Kirihara literally treats you two as if you're an item already lol

"Are you free this weekend?"

It's such a sudden question thrown at you out of nowhere, and it's something you never expected to come from Sanada, so you nod automatically.

"I see. Then, if you'd like... We could perhaps go to somewhere you've always wanted to go? Like that new restaurant that just opened two stations away from your house? That is, only if you want to!"

Most Passionate

You're going to hate my answer for this but...

Honestly, all of them? I mean, canonically all of these boys dedicate so much blood, sweat, and tears into tennis. So I would imagine if they found someone they really like, they would show their love / passion to that person in each of their own way.

e.g. Tezuka is passionate about tennis but he doesn't exactly show it until everyone witnessed his match with Atobe --> mostly silent but shows his passion by his actions. Ryoma is passionate about tennis and literally everyone knows it because he's very persistent in getting a win --> will not give up on you that easily.

Most Caring

Most of them are all pretty caring, but I feel that these people would take the cake if we're talking about being exceptionally attentive and aware of their s/o's needs:

Oishi - Literally he is your boyfriend and second mom. “Have you eaten? You also look tired... Have you been sleeping properly?”

Ootori - He's just very kind and attentive in general, so he would make a very caring boyfriend!

Yanagi - Knows your data enough to understand what you like or dislike, and he's compassionate enough to make use of that information.

Yukimura - Especially when it comes to your health, he's very attentive and will help you to be healthier with no questions asked if you want him to.

Yagyuu - A perfect gentleman; he always wants to treasure and takes a good care of you.

Jackal - He's used to take care of the troublemakers in the tennis team, so when it comes to you he naturally takes a caring role too.

Chitose - Likes to pat your head when you did well and will let you cry on his shoulder when you feel sad. Though he is aloof, he's observant, so he will notice all the little things.

... will stay with glasses. I feel like he thinks glasses suits him, so he'll probably stay with it.

... might or might not take the eye surgery after a very thorough research and logically weighing the pros and cons of getting it done, the probability of success, the risks, etc.

Yagyuu

... will stay with glasses, I think. If I remembered right, in one of the otome games he briefly mentioned that his glasses' lenses are specially made so that other people can't see his eyes, which helps in his tennis play style. So he wears it for a reason!

Oshitari (Yuushi)

... will stay with glasses, for sure. He wears fashion glasses and his eyes are fine, so he doesn't need it in the first place!

Kite

... will take the surgery. It's just more convenient not needing glasses.

I hope you're doing good too! lol we never really manage to leave I guess. Konomi-sensei's curse... It can never be broken....

Echizen

Gets quite a lot of chocolates but doesn't really eat them. Either he gives them to Kikumaru or Momoshiro, or he brings it home and lets his family eat them instead. Ryoma doesn't really get the 'hype' and isn't that interested in it.

... Or at least until he meets you. And starts to tolerate you. And starts to maybe find you likable. And then before he realizes Valentine's Day is coming and he hears you talking to your friends about making homemade chocolates for him and suddenly he's looking forward to the D-day.

At the big day, he hovers around you to give you a chance to hand him his chocolates. He's interrupted by his senpais and fangirls several times, but in the end you manage to find him after tennis practice ends anyway.

Has a shit-eating grin on his lips when he receives it (much to your shock, since you saw him reject a lot of chocolates this year) and he inspects the package with interest before opening it.

"Home made, right? .... He~h.... Looks delicious. Thanks."

White Day present: colorful hairpins / small teddy bear.

Kirihara

Probably receives both obligatory chocolates and homemade ones. A lot of them. He's pretty popular not just because he's a regular of the tennis club, but also because he is generally quite friendly. Quite into Valentine's Day because he gets to eat a lot of food!

A week before Valentine's, he tries to subtly ask you to dig up some information on whether you're planning to give chocolates, and if you do, who were you thinking to make it for. Of course you catch up on it and teasingly tell him it's a secret.

On the actual day, he tries to make you jealous by showing off the many presents he received, but it backfires on him (this awkward cutie omg). He sees you giving out chocolates to all the boys in your class (not knowing they're all obligatory) and sulks for the rest of the day.

That is, until you finally come up to him and hand him a specially wrapped gift box. Immediately he's beaming and he's holding the box into his chest as if you were going to take it away as a joke or something.

A lot of chocolates! He thanks everyone who gives them personally to him but also apologizes because he doesn't feel the same way. But if the giver insists for him to have it, then he'll accept out of politeness. He is quite neutral, not exactly liking or hating Valentine's Day.

Because he's indifferent about the event, Tezuka doesn't really think about whether you'll be giving chocolates or not.

So on the Valentine's Day, he's a little surprised when he finds you going around the third year's corridors giving out chocolates to his teammates. He's a little curious, so he greets both you and Inui, whom you had just given a chocolate to, and he can't help but feel a little hurt when you bid them goodbye as soon as he comes onto the scene. His friend pats him on his back and chuckles. "Don't worry, Tezuka. There is a ninety seven percent probability that you'll still get chocolate from [Last_Name]."

It's only when he finishes tennis practice that he notices you waiting near the school gate, your hand cradling a gift bag which you offer him with a shy smile. He thanks you and unlike when it comes to the others, he finds himself gladly accepting your chocolates.

"Receiving this from you makes me very happy. Thank you."

White Day present: a simple and elegant looking bracelet.

Sanada

Surprisingly he still gets some chocolates, but most of the time they're not handed directly to him. Instead, they're all shoved into his locker or desk. He politely accepts them all but will not hesitate to throw away suspicious looking ones (read: homemade ones). Actually thinks Valentine's Day is a waste of time.

It's actually Yukimura who's brave enough to tease him a week before Valentine's. "Genichirou, aren't you curious who [Last_Name]-san will be giving chocolates to?" "I do not!" (He certainly didn't, but after that, he does)

It's a known fact that Sanada trains his mind constantly, and that's what he does in preparation for Valentine's after Yukimura's offhanded comment.

However all of that prep is in naught when you're smiling nervously at him and offering him a wrapped box. He's flustered on the inside even though he looks as stoic as ever on the outside.

"Aah, I see. No worries, I'll help you give it to Seiichi.......... Hmm? T-This is for me, you said? I... hadn't expected that. Then, I shall accept this gratefully. Thank you. I shall think of a proper gift for White Day."

There are 2 full on otome games for tenipuri in NDS, but only gakupuri is available in english (please bear in mind that it’s not an official translation but it’s very well made). Surprised at first, then a mix of curious and excited the next. He's usually the one who would fall asleep around you, so this is a very new and unexpected development. Thinks that your sleeping face is precious and even if you drool or snore, to him you look so at peace and that makes him so happy.

Watches you sleep in a non creepy way. Sleeping you looks different than the awake you, so he takes time to admire your occasionally fluttering eyelashes, the slight opening of your lips, and the way you slowly breathe.

After some time he will probably get sleepy from watching you sleep so soundly, so he relaxes, lets sleep take him, and the next thing he remember he's continuing his date with you in his dreams.

Momoshiro

Might be a little offended at first because the first thing he thought of is that you fell asleep because you were bored.

His thought immediately changes when he sees you so tranquil, sleeping like this, and only then he notices how tired you seem to be. Feels a little guilty for not noticing sooner in favor of letting his excitement completely take over, all the way throughout the date. Piggybacks you back home and makes sure you're tucked in safely in your bed.

For the next time he hangs out with you, he's a lot more attentive to signs of fatigue from your side and he tries his best to let you rest so you won't fall asleep on him again (it's not that he doesn't like you falling asleep on him, but he'd rather see you laugh and have fun whenever he's around!).

Shiraishi

Instantly grins at how adorable you look and sneaks in a few photos for teasing you next time into his photo collection. Readjusts you carefully so that your neck won't be sore when you wake up later and somehow manages it without waking you up.

He almost died when you snuggle closer to him and make a satisfied hum as you do. Can't help but place a loving kiss to your head.

Doesn't try to wake you up at all if possible. If you don't seem like you're going to wake up anytime soon, he'll gladly carry you to the nearest bed and resume cuddling you there. Will fake a shocked ‘you didn’t remember what happened last night? I’m so hurt...’ when you wake up all confused, just to see your reaction.

Ooo a love triangle yessssss ♡

Between Atobe and Tezuka, the latter is pretty dense so I feel that it's either:

1) Tezuka is going to see Atobe making his advances towards you, and he would be there thinking why in the world is he feeling irritated / cautious when seeing Atobe outside tennis court for the longest time, until Fuji or Oishi manages to smack some sense into him:

"Tezuka, that's called jealously."

"Jealously? ...... Hm. I see."

Or alternatively, 2) Atobe himself realizes that his rival seems to harbor an affection towards you, and seeing his personality he will probably confront Tezuka directly about it to declare that he's not going to back down. Which, in turn, makes Tezuka himself reflects on his feelings and realizes that, just like tennis, he doesn't want to lose to Atobe of all people, when it comes to you.

Atobe is thick in laying down his charm: daily bouquets of fresh flowers delivered to your doorway, gifts on your desk, constant invitations to weekend dates - whatever romantic endeavours you can think of, he has done it. If you take public transport to your school, you better cancel your transportation card, because he has a car and he will pick you up / drop you off back home every single day if you let him. His way of 'stealing your heart' is by showing off at all times possible that he has everything and he can 100% makes you happy if you do choose him.

Tezuka on the other hand, is way simpler than Atobe in showing his interest and fondness, but give the boy a credit because he's trying his very best to not lose! He'll go to shopping trips with you and carry your bags, gifts you the accessory you've been eyeing for your birthday, very patiently teaches you tennis when you ask for it (Echizen and Momo thought they have somehow entered an alternate reality when they witness Tezuka gently fixing your bad posture and bringing you your towel and water bottle when you start to sweat).

Between the two, they're really different and yet they're both quite competitive, so being in the middle of that could be exhausting sometimes. You might find almost no free time for yourself since you're being bombarded with attention everywhere, and not just from the two of them but also from their friends and fangirls.

Speaking of fangirls. I can see Atobe's fans consisting of some rich and extremely obsessed girls, so there's always that threat of being bullied because you're clearly 'the special one'. But as your relationship develops into a more serious one, Atobe won't just stay still and will give them a stern talking if he judges he has to. Tezuka's fangirls on the other hand are way milder and are mostly mature girls who knows the difference being infatuation and love, so they wouldn't pose too much of a problem.

By the way, obviously Hyotei roots for Atobe and Seigaku roots for Tezuka, so things always gets lively whenever the two teams are in vicinity along with you....

"Oh, [Last_Name]-san, you came!"

You smile at the whole Seigaku tennis team and delivers your greetings. It might just be your eyes tricking you but you can kind of see a very small smile on Tezuka’s expression.

"You're cheering for us today right nya~? Then, come sit on the first row! This way, this wa--"

Before you can answer, you can feel the presence of more people coming up behind you.

"Oi, Seigaku! She's here because of ore-sama's invitation, so she's obviously going to cheer on Hyotei!"

You greet the Hyotei members and nervously hope this isn’t a prelude of a disaster waiting to happen, but obviously you’re wrong.

He seems like a guy who would enjoy all types of music! Pop, Rock, Indie, Techno, Country, Jazz - you name it and he'll try to listen to it. If he finds a song he likes, he'll insert it into his playlist.

Is secretly into K-Pop and you can't convince me otherwise. He's a Blink I tell you

Lots of playlists for all different moods! Calm serene music for sleeping? Check. Upbeat workout playlist for warming up before tennis matches? Check. Romantic playlist he listens to whenever he misses you? Check.

Insists to continuously trade his playlists with you, his crush, and uses it as an excuse to approach you. It’s kind of cute. Later when the two of you is officially a couple, you take turns blasting your 'playlist of the week' whenever you hang out together.

Zaizen has a favourite pair of earbuds he will never for the life of him share with other people, but you're an exception.

"Huh? Zaizen, I thought no one's allowed to use your earphones?" Shiraishi gives the two of you a knowing look, and you're clueless as to what he's talking about because you always share a headphone with your black haired friend.

Kirihara

Listens to J-pop, J-rock, and any songs that makes it into Oricon. He's not really into songs that aren't in Japanese, but he would follow popular pop songs and hums to it (because he can't for the life of him remember the lyrics).

I might be biased because Morikubo (his voice actor) is a J-Rock singer, but he would be so good at singing!

Constantly exchanges music recommendations with his classmates. Often gets invited by people to karaoke to hang out because his singing skill livens up the atmosphere.

In fact, I can see him meeting you first when your friends and his friends both dragged the two of you against your will to an after-school karaoke session. The two of you bond over this fact, you get amazed at his singing, he gets flustered from your praises, and what happens next is history.

He always gets super embarrassed whenever you have a karaoke date and you request a ballad song. Save this poor boy and don't ask him to sing romantic songs lol

"S-Saigo no kisu wa tabako no f-fu-fure--ba--??? Ahhh, I don't know! This is so embarrassing!! [First_Name], c'mon, I can't sing this!!!"

Ootori

Canonically I believe he's into Classical music and he plays piano and violin? (correct me if I'm wrong) Also, based on gakupuri, it seems like he also doesn't mind Rock.

My personal headcanon is that he's also a little into J-Pop, and he would sometimes practice piano or violin by re-arranging J-Pop songs. I can somehow also see him liking older music (especially if it's in record form) and traditional instrumentals (e.g. koto, shamisen, erhu, harp, etc.)

Always agrees to perform a mini recital whenever you request him to do so.

On your birthday, he shyly gives you a CD and asks you to listen to it. You'll find a collection of piano pieces of your favorite songs inside it and you just know he arranged and performed them especially just for you.

He would be ecstatic if you asked him to teach you piano or violin! Alternatively, if you're at the level of being able to play some songs decently (or extraordinarily), he would be so up to a jamming session or even performing some pieces with you.

"Being able to play music with you makes me so happy! Ah, don't get me wrong, I also like it when you ask me to play for you!! It's just... Being able to be surrounded by the things I love, like this... It feels like a dream..."

Yooo unfortunately no, I’m not caught up with shinteni! I read it a long time ago and then never really got back to it because the updates were really slow hahah But I might re-read the series this holiday season, who knows?
