“Ending a chapter in your life is always going to be a hard and heartbreaking thing you have to do, it’s something that’ll happen to you throughout your life, whether you like it or not. It hurts the most because a big part of you wants it to skill be alive, your heart can’t handle the fact that you have to turn the page. It’s a rare thing, but if you are mature and grown enough to end a chapter with someone you truly love and still be able to start a new chapter with them, where they are only your friend. Then you have a true gift, because only a few can do that. In June we decided to become friends, we thought if we were going to have mutual friends then we might as well get along. We became good friends, until one day we developed feelings for each other, we decided to give It a go. It was the best time of my life, I had never felt so loved and wanted, I had never felt so happy. I’ll never forget out time together, the fun drives to who knows where, the weird conversations I somehow seemed to spark up, dragging you into a bookstore, not caring how long I’d be, the moments where we just sat, enjoying each others company, the kisses and hugs we share. Sure it was all great and I wouldn’t of changed it for the world, but we both knew it wasn’t going to last, yet we tired it anyways. Sometimes you have to try these things to see if it’ll work, if it doesn’t at least you gave it a try. This will never be a relationship that I’ll talk down on, you won’t be one of my ‘mistake ex’s’ because I’m glad I met you and you were right, it would of been a lot harder to say goodbye later on. It was hard to close this chapter but I knew deep inside of me if we didn’t, I would of stayed for you. I know it's going to be hard now, because we may not talk as much as we did, we may not hang out anymore, we may not even remember each other sometimes, but I feel like just having each other in our lives somehow is good enough. I’m glad we didn’t end up as those people who once they split, they forgot each other all together, I’m glad we are trying to start a new chapter and I have faith in you and in me that this new chapter won't turn into a closed book.”
