I drew the same group I did for All Might's birthday cuz they're the best
The black text is sposed to be them writing on the picture. I wanted them to have different handwriting but that's HARD!! My cursive skills are hella rusty.

My Hero Academia fanfic: Still Here part 7
After a villain attack leaves everyone caught in U.A.ās main school building blind, Class 1-A are told to stay where they are and wait for help. At first, everyone assumes it will wear off. It doesnāt. With no miracle cure coming, Aizawa and his students have to work out what it means to keep going when the future they trained for suddenly feels out of reach.
The guides had been late.
Having no way of checking the time, he hadnāt actually known that until they had appeared at the door and apologized for their tardiness. Aizawa realized he was irritated with them, not for being late, which he was sure was due to being busy helping somebody else, but because theyĀ knewthat they were late. Because they could glance at their watch, or a wall clock, or their phone, and know how far behind schedule they were.
Which was, he was fully aware, irrational and unfair. Especially given that they were there to help, and that until they had apologized, he hadnāt even known.
He kept the nasty, jealous thought to himself, and concentrated on the suddenly challenging act of putting one foot in front of the other.
The corridors were cooler now than when Aizawa had been led through them earlier in the day, on his way to the conference. Heat from the sun no longer streamed in through the windows that lined the walkways.
He considered the time. The guides had been due to arrive at 6.15. They had, according to them, been twenty minutes late. That meant it was after sunset, but probably not yet dark. The sky had been clear blue earlier in the day, which meant that it would have deepened to a dark indigo. It would be paler, and perhaps with streaks of red and gold still, at the horizon, left behind where the sun had sunk out of sight.
He turned his head to the window, not really expecting to see it, but still unreasonably disappointed when nothing changed.
There were three guides. Two women and a man. They had not introduced themselves by name. They had sounded tired and stressed. On another day, Aizawa might have felt sympathy for them for that. Today, he was all out. He assumed that, like Morita, they worked at the school in some capacity, had not been in the affected area, and had now been asked to pitch in by guiding frightened, newly blind teenagers around the building.
Aizawa wished he could say that he didnāt envy them that task, but it turned out that he did.

real talk why do so many fantasy universes think giant spiders are necessary
The sad part is thereās a decent chance a large proportion of them can be blamed on one spider.
The tarantula that bit JRR Tolkien as a child.
He swore he didnāt have a spider phobia and the experience had nothing to do with the man-eating giant spiders in The Hobbit, the even more giant and even more man-eating spider in Lord of the Rings, or the unholy eldritch spider from outside creation that plunged the world into darkness and made literal Satan scream like a little kid in the Silmarillion. Very few people believe him.
Given LotRās influence in the fantasy genre, there is a high probability that tarantula is the progenitor of even more fictional spiders than Ungoliant was.
wow fuck that one tarantula
āfantasy universes have too many spidersā factoid actually just statistical error. Georgs Spider, who bit JRR Tolkein & is to blame for menacing over 10,000 fantasy universes, is an outlier adn should not have been counted
My Hero Academia fanfic - In the Wrong Hands Part 10
Synopsis:
A quick shopping trip turns catastrophic when Aizawa and Hizashi find their quirks forcibly swapped, leaving both of them to learn how to exist in bodies that no longer feel entirely their own.
For the second day in a row, Yamada found himself standing in the gym with Aizawa. Only, last time it had been Aizawa trying to control the quirk that had been forced upon him. Today, it was Yamadaās turn.
He swallowed, then licked his lips nervously. āIām doing this under duress, you know,ā he said.
Aizawa shook his head, removed the lid of the thick marker he had brought instead of the ballpoint because it would be easier to see from a distance, and wrote.Ā Not forcing you.
Yamada scowled. āIām not saying the duress is coming from you. Itās my own stupid desire to be able to be out in public without hurting people. Maybe I should have become a villain instead, that way I wouldnāt care.ā
Aizawa rolled his eyes, looking particularly unimpressed.
āDoorās definitely locked, right?ā Yamada asked. āI donāt want some overly-ambitious students wandering in for a bit of extra practice, me failing to erase Voice, and you accidentally destroying their hearing.ā
The marker touched the paper again as Aizawa nodded.Ā Locked. But the gym is off-limits to students without supervision.
āNever used to stop you,ā Yamada pointed out.

the best fanfic is the one the author had fun writing actually.
the second best is the one the author used to work through some issues.
the third best is the one the author wrote out of spite due to some really dogshit discourse going on in their fandom
Big fan of 3!
love them
i am not normal about them whatsoever
(not my art)
Hunt for the Wilderpeople (2016)
At risk of sounding like a hater and an asshole this looks like AI and if its somehow not, the editor who reworked images and sharpened them up made it look like AI
Edit: yeah its AI
This is the actual image (from a 6 year old reddit post so def not AI). Either someone asked AI to recreate it or AI, being the plagiarism machine it is, was asked for a pic of dogs finding humans in the snow and just ripped off the first image it could find. Another reminder that AI doesn't actually create anything. Also real cute dogs.
Actually a fantastic example for when you need to illustrate to someone that AI art is theft, blatantly, and not in some abstract way

āSo, check this out,ā Yamada told him. āWhile I was busy not sleeping last night, I went on the radio stationās website.ā He smiled. āSo a few years back we did this competition where people had to send in funny sound clips to win prizes. You remember? The guy that won had one of All Might that time he was halfway through saying āI am here,ā and a bug flew in his mouth?ā
Aizawa nodded. He remembered it well, because Yamada had done everything in his power to make sure anything else won, and then spent the next two weeks refusing to play it, not because it was disrespectful to the Symbol of Peace, but because the idea of a bug flying into his mouth freaked him out.
āRight,ā Yamada continued. āSo, it turns out our website guy never took that part of the site down. I donāt know if he just forgot, or itās there deliberately in case we do it again, but either way, I know for a fact that some people uploaded videos instead, because people were complaining about the amount of memory they took up.ā
His smile widened briefly into a grin. āYou see where Iām going with this, right?ā

I HAVE FOUND. THE MOST AMAZING WEBSITE.
itās called braceletbook.com and it appears to be a resource for likeā¦friendship bracelets? And making cool patterns for them? Which is super cool and I do want to try it. But all of these patterns absolutely work as cross stitch patterns
Like. Look at this!
Again itās geared towards bracelets so they tend to be long and skinny, which is the only major limitation. But you can search and filter by number of colors, Iām making myself a frog bookmark.
anyway I thought you and your followers might enjoy!
Thank you for spoiling me with this! I'm going to lose some time here for sure!
