When we judge or evaluate something, we can't do it purely objectively without including our own perspective.
In Buddhism, this is called "The Four Views of One Water." It means that water can be seen in different ways: in the human realm, it's a drink; to the fish in the animal realm, it's a habitat; to beings in the hungry ghost realm, it's fire; and to heavenly beings, it's a jewel.
