I just noticed I never really said my goodbyes. I just quickly got frustrated and dropped. But yeah. I really did love this group, so many wonderful memories even though at time there were ooc dramas that could have been avoided. I met so many wonderful roleplayers and had great roleplays. I really will miss you all. I had a wonderful Bugsy, you don't know how long I had been looking for one for my Whitney. I am glad we got to roleplay together--even though it was a short time. I kind of wish I had a chance to roleplay with everyone but I was intimidated by most of you guys.

As for these blogs. Whit will remain frozen for sometime.. I already have an indie Whitney. And for Mars, I made her an indie. You guys can unfollow both.

The purplette’s eyes watered up at Whitney’s comments about her not being  a bad gym leader and her acceptance. Was this true? Did Whitney really mean it when she said that the other gym leaders did trust her potential? It took a lot out of her to try to speak as calmly as she did, so it would’ve probably been bad to break down into tears then.

The younger girl quickly wiped her eyes with her left hand and sent out her right hand to meet with the older one’s, shaking it and giggling over the daddy’s girl comment. Maybe her biggest insecurity wasn’t a something she needed to keep worrying about.

The girls began to walk out of the store, the ninja leading the way, walking backwards, although Whitney probably should’ve been leading the way.

“You know, even if you do play video games, I bet I would still demolish you! Bam!” The ninja threw a punch in the air, giggling. “Although, if we’re going to play video games in some enclosed room, then I probably need to at least clean up first! Not that how I smell right now really bothers me, but as a poison expert, there’s something most gamers are fairly familiar with, called “gamer funk, which, let me just say, smells much worse than a Skuntank and that plus this stench that is currently in my possession would probably be noxious enough to knock out anyone in a tenth foot radius!” She laughed some more. Now that the tension had lifted between the two females, Janine felt a lot more comfortable talking to the older female.

It was actually a really nice feeling having someone to talk to who wasn’t her dad, or someone she was forced to talk to, or even someone who idolized her for possibly questionable reasons. Hopefully, Whitney really did mean to become friends with her. And if she could possibly become friends with someone like Whitney, maybe she could become friends with other gym leaders.

Whitney followed the girl as they left the store, watching her walk backwards was sort of entertaining. Would she trip over a crack pavement? Or maybe even run into a pole? She chuckled to herself, shaking her head of those thoughts. No. No. It would not be good to think of them at the moment. Especially since the two seemed to be working on trying to build a friendship. It would do them both some good. Making sure the thoughts were out of her head, she would occasionally peer over the younger girls shoulder, watching to see if anything was there. Now that she thought of it. Did Janine know where she lived? They were walking the right way.. So it was possible..

"I really doubt that." Whitney teased, gently poking the younger girl's forehead. "If anyone is gonna be doing any demolishing.. It's gonna be me." She waved her hand around, her rows raising at the comment about her smell. That was right.. Her little failed plan earlier. "Aaah.. That's right!" She poked her own cheek, pondering about it quickly. "Well.. You can always wash up back in my apartment. I can loan you some of my clothes if y'want.. Though.. I guess our styles are a bit different.. Hope shorts are no problem for you." The pink haired girl did have other options of clothes--Skirts mostly. She really doubted Janine would be willing to wear those. Seeing the ninja jump around like that was amusing for her. It was as if she was witnessing her being.. Her age.

"What's with the goofy grin?" She asked, raising her brow once more. Janine had to be thinking of something to have a smile like that. Hopefully not another prank.. On her at least.

"Cleffa!" Giggled the small pink Pokemon that had been placed on top of the table. It smiled at the pink-headed trainer as they goofed around, eating their lunch on top floor of the Goldenrod Department Store.

"Sweetie, make sure t'eat everything!" Whitney giggled, patting the top of the baby Pokemon's head. She had been walking by the daycare not too long ago, the old couple that ran it asked her if she would be willing to take care of the small normal-type. Without much hesitation, the girl accepted, babies were cute. Babysitting was fun to her--When they weren't crying. "I'll be right back!" She patted the baby on it's nose as she got up and wandered over to the vending machines. There was a good amount of selections but she went with her favorite, sweet lemonade.

Turning back around to the tables, it wasn't much long after the two had finish eating that Whitney noticed a familiar figure. Petite. Pigtails.. Overalls. A smile crossed her face. What where the chances that she'd see her again on this side of town? The girl shook her head at the comment she made in her head. Of course there was a chance that they would run into each other. Goldenrod was the biggest city in Johto. Though being at the same place at the same time.. That was a bit rare. A sort of strings of chance.

"Hi Lyra!" Whitney smiled, waving her free hand, her other arm holding on to the couple of bottles she had just purchased. "What brings you over?"

As Janine approached the pinkette, she noticed she seemed to be spacing out. Coming closer, she realized that wasn’t the case, catching some of what the older girl was muttering. Something about ‘pretending’ and ‘friend’… She bit her lip, uncomfortable about the whole thing. Wasn’t Whitney the one pretending to be nice?

She finally made her way to where Whitney was, when she heard the girl mock her about her dad again. As badly as the young ninja wanted to hit the taller female, she just bit her lip harder, and clenched her fists, trying to bury her feet on the ground. She started enough scenes at one Department Store. She didn’t need to in another. 

“I can do things on my own, thank you very much. I’m not the little daddy’s girl you and the other gym leaders seem to think I am. Sure I may have gotten my gym from him, but I assure you, it wasn’t just a simple walk in the park!” She took a deep breath, trying to keep herself from getting too aggravated with the whole situation.

“Listen. You don’t like me and I don’t like you and from the sounds of it, neither of us probably don’t like the majority of the people we have to deal with. I say we ally up. We don’t have to become friends, because honestly, it looks like we have nothing in common-do you even like video games or was that just to be friendly?” She coughed awkwardly. “Anyways. Yeah. We should team up and well, that way we don’t have to be alone when we deal… with… stuff that stinks… What do you say? Shake on it? I promise I won’t spit in my hand this time!” She giggled slightly, hoping Whitney would be as amused by the horrible situation as she was. Was this what it meant to grow up? Trying to make peace with the people she’d normally clash with? Janine hoped Whitney would accept her offer.

A brow arched slightly as the ninja approached, it surprised her that she did not really say much. She had been expecting her to be yelling, shouting, calling out names. Or something along those lines. At least that's what she has heard from a certain flying-type specialist whom was acquaintance with the shorter girl.

Whitney crossed her arms as she heard the younger girl speak. Though when she began to defend her title and position, she was also expecting a sort of tantrum, not the .. Calm behaviour she had given her just now. "You.. Do know most of us don't see you like that.. If you had really just inherited like that.. Would not have been fair to possible better candidates. Nor the trainers that stop by your gym looking for a challenge. I'm sure you've worked hard to try to live up to his name.. If not.. You're trying harder to."

She really did have a way with words. Were they trustworthy words? That she was uncertain of. Though it probably would not hurt her completely to trust what she had to say.. They were both pretty much in similar situations. Or somewhat at least. It  was amusing though.. To see the girl trying to make up some and wanting to be friends, even after hearing a few things from who knows where. "I'll shake." The pinkette simply answered, chuckling slightly as she moved her hand out for the younger girl to shake. Yeah, this felt different. It probably wouldn't be such a bad thing to give it a try at least.

"And about the games.. Let's play a few then you'll find out." She smirked slightly.

"By the way.. There is really nothing that wrong with being a daddy's girl.. I sorta kinda am one still." She stated, tilting her head slightly.

“Hmm? So you’re not lost now, are you?” he questioned absentmindedly, giving her a good once over before his gaze found their way back to her face. Touya reached up to scratch the back of his neck, right where his hair stopped, lazily as he laughed softly. “Well, anyway, Whitney’s a pretty name and much more interesting than ‘Touya.’ It’s nice to meet you. I’ve been to Johto once or twice, I think, but it all looks the same when you’re flying overhead in the clouds.”

"It's nice to meet you." The pinkette nodded again, she was a tad bit unsure if the male was being a bit too nice or something else. When he asked her if she was currently lost, she was curious if she had that blank.. Lost.. Confused look she often had when she was not home. Quickly shaking her head she said, "No.. No. I'm not lost.. I've been around this area a few times to know where it is that I am going." Whitney looked at him a bit curious when he mentioned that he had been in Johto. Most people she met never really went outside their region unless they were trainers or on business. Sometimes even both. "You've been to Johto.. What cities did you stop by?"

Whitney blinked a few times at the sound of someone talking, at first she was unsure if he was calling out to her or just being loud. But then when he looked over at her, she knew he was talking to her.

"Oh! Hiya! I'm Whitney." The pinkette giggled, smiling at the new face. "Touya? That's an interesting name.. And you're right. I'm not from around here. I'm from the Johto region.. Though I have been around here a few times.. I still get pretty lost."

"Oh? Is that what you mean earlier? Hmm.. I guess the type you can easily get along with.. Cook food.. Play games.. Watch movies.. Do those sorts of cutesy things with.. Though it would be weird getting along all the time.. Arguments are bound to happen eventually.. As long as we're able to talk it through.. We should be able to get along.. "Ah.. Excluding Falkner, Bugsy and Morty.. Hm.. This is hard. I guess I would take along that pretty girl.. Giselle, Bianca and Chili from Unova.. Maybe even Red and Janine?"

"I do. It's right in town and has a little bit of everything there. So I am often there~! Also.. It's a good place to take a little break at. Especially on the top level.. Which is where most trainers find me nowadays."

Janine looked up from her flailing state, over at Whitney who was storming out. “…Ru..mors…?” She knew too well about rumors. She was victim of some herself. Especially since her dad gave her her gym. Of course, Janine also usually ended up a victim of self-fulfilling prophecy in her attempts to avoid it.

But Janine could at least talk about the rumors involving herself without getting too embarrassed, even if she did get heavily defensive about it. To have rumors going on that Janine couldn’t even repeat without her face heating up had to be even worse.

She got up and ran out after the older girl. The ninja didn’t have too many friends and it didn’t seem like Whitney did either. Here Janine thought Whitney was one of the popular gym leaders. Was this position really just much lonelier than she though? Maybe Whitney was right. Maybe Janine was just a little girl who didn’t know what it meant to be a gym leader. 

“Whitney? The younger girl stopped and looked around. The girl had disappeared. Maybe she went into the department store… Janine darted inside, running up the stairs, while looking for pigtailed girl and trying to avoid the stares she was getting, mostly from her stench.

After having that rough moment with the younger gym leader the pink eyed trainer made her way to the department store, just how she usually did. Once inside she made it to the top floor. She had kicked her feet up on the table where she would usually be located after a long day of work. "Augh." The girl groaned, moving the can to her lips, taking a long sip of her lemonade.

The pinkette had been used to hearing these sorts of things time and time again. Usually she would just simply shrug it off, she knew herself that none of it were true. Just it said so often, she just couldn't help but wonder what exactly it was that she had done to have all of that start in the first place. Maybe it was possibly someone who was after her position in the first place? Augh. All that thinking was not necessary. She knew what was true.

"Stupid little brat." She uttered under her breath. "If that's really what you were here for. Why didn't you just get it over with without pretending you wanted to be my friend. Or at least interested in playing games. I would have so kicked your butt." Whitney chuckled, her gaze shifting up towards the ceiling.

There was an odor in the air.. One that she became familiar with not so long ago. "What do you want?" The gym leader scolded as the smell got stronger. "I thought you went off to find you daddy.."

Testing the waters

A clean, effective, spot-on hit.. Not like Archer was surprised or anything. There was a definite difference between a Pokemon that had been raised out on the streets then one that had been baby’d and over-cared for like Miltank likely was. Houndoom was quick, effective, powerful and agile.. There was no way they were going to lose, definitely not. “Poor thing.” Archer mocked, as Whitney spoke to her Pokemon. He chanced the moment to reach out and pat his Houndoom on the backside, the Pokemon huffed and pawed at the ground in impatience. A true fighter.. Attract.. Archer smirked once again. How.. foolish of this girl, did she plan on winning using cheap tricks? “Imbecile.” The Executive hissed into the air as Miltank’s eyes filled with pink and the air filled with sparkles. “Mimic!” Houndoom, true to his deceptive nature mimicked the attack perfectly. It was.. quite idiotic looking, but Miltank’s eyes and the air around it was replicated perfectly by his Houndoom. Did that mean the two were rendered useless then..?

The girl hissed at Archer, him repeating after her in the mocking tone. She knew her Miltank was strong, able to withstand a lot, but that was usually when they were the first to make a move. It did not look like it would be good between the two. It did not look any better for her. After they both had called their move, both Pokemon appeared to just be staring at each other.. Almost lovingly. "Ah-! Milky!" The girl exclaimed, seeing if she was able to snap her Pokemon out. But there really was no luck. Having both Pokemon under the small spell, did that make them useless?

"Milky! Use Body Slam!" The ordered, signaling over at the Houndoom, but to no luck the bipedal cow refused to budge from her spot, or at least to attack the opposing Pokemon. Whitney bit down on her lower lip, trying to figure out what else she could possibly do. By the looks of this there really was nothing much to do. "C'mon! Milky! Snap out of it!" The Miltank Her gaze continued to shift around, unfortunately unable to figure out a next move. "Milky.. Attack.." She uttered under her breath, trying to get the cow to make a move towards the dark-type.
