"Life isn't about finding yourself, life is about creating yourself" Hello I'm Kay I'm 22, hailing from BC, Canada. I grew up with terrible eating & exercise habits and took my naturally soft-but-thinnish body for granted. It wasn't healthy, and when I hit my 20's things started to change. With practice and patience and the help of Fitspo blogs, I learned the steps to start creating a healthier, more physically fit me. This is my Journey =) Benvenuti a Fitspo. var _gaq = _gaq || []; _gaq.push(['_setAccount', 'UA-23699944-1']); _gaq.push(['_trackPageview']); (function() { var ga = document.createElement('script'); ga.type = 'text/javascript'; ga.async = true; ga.src = ('https:' == document.location.protocol ? 'https://ssl' : 'http://www') + '.google-analytics.com/ga.js'; var s = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; s.parentNode.insertBefore(ga, s); })();
paired with clean eating I lost 5 lbs in 6 weeks without counting calories or trying to lose any scale wait. I just started interval running 3-4 days a week to train and thought if it leans me out.. cool, but I didnt expect to see the scale numbers drop like that.
112 to 107!
I dont need to lose anymore weight, so I'm back to strength training now. Kettlebell, weighted squats, lunges and ab workouts.
I broke up with him (after 5 years) and he's moving out and my life has been torn apart and I'm kind of happy because it needed to be done but mostly I just want to cry right now.
So my mom and I have been working the same waitress job for 5-6 years now. She had been waitressing years before, but this is recently. Anyway, about… 15 minutes ago this guy she waited on left and told her to take care. Just that. Prior to this she had talked to him about Italy. Her people are from Florence, this and that, and she said she’s never been. She’s got 8 years of art education and she’s working a waitress job. It’s pretty… Sad and disappointing, I guess. Her and my father divorced 6 years ago and she hasn’t had a real job ever. Just been stuck in a small town she’s not from.
This man who we have never seen before tipped her 1000 dollars for a trip to Italy. Walked out, not another word.
I am running every other day .. 3-4 times a week. (and jog/power walking on off days) Even in Whistler this weekend my gf and I missioned for over an hr (in the rain, carrying a wet dog!) Still doing just intervals.. I love the bursts of speed and then jogging to recover.. it works for me and I can gradually build up my stamina too.
Also doing the squat challenge every other day for a bum.. its almost june. Omg.
I guess I'll just pick up where I left off. Really I want to start a whole new blog but I don't want to lose all my amazing followers on here <3 I suppose I could re-add you all. I might do that? Thanks to those who stayed with me, I didn't abandon you, but I needed a little break.
Just a quick update.. I pre-registered for my first 5k run here in Vancouver called Run or Dye. It's the same idea as the Color Run and I am STOKED! ...because omg have I wanted to do a color run since I first saw a pic from it on tumblr.
I'm pre-training starting today, since I cant even run for 5 minutes without getting winded.
If you want to pre-register for Run or Dye in your area sign up herrrr
Wednesday in Jakarta. It's hot.. but what else is new. And honestly I love it. I found a great gym in my building that I hit up yesterday and today. Then tomorrow I have a shoot so Im trying to finish out the day without eating anything bad for me.
So I'm in Indonesia on the first part of a work-vacay. I have a show tonight.. I just ate 3 pancakes with fruit and now Im contemplating going to find the gym. I need to shower today anyways so I might as well get really sweaty and dirty first, right?
I need to motivate myself.. somehow.. to jump on the elliptical for 40 mins before bed. I leave in 3 days this is last chance to cram in some good fat-burning sessions. ^_^
Haven't posted a recipe in a minute. Then I found this. THIS MUST BE MADE.
