Entering your winter arc of β25, girly girl edition

heyy pretty hoes! winter is approaching & we should take this time to start preparing for the new year. in this post iβm going to go in depth on what a winter arc really is & how to achieve it, the girly girl wayπ.
WHAT IS A βWINTER ARCβ?
a winter arc is a time period between fall & winter season (usually 90 days is the common way) where you really lock in on yourself, taking care of yourself, & preparing for the next year. you know how they say bodies are made in winter? itβs true! use this time to pour into yourself & become the best that you could beπππ
taking care of your physical should ALWAYS be a top priority. so here are some things to cater to that:
β’ yoga or simple stretching everyday
β’ working out at least 4x a week, this can be changed depending on your body goals. if you genuinely wanna lose weight work out more. if you just wanna tone your body then 3-4x is just enough
β’ waking up early & getting ENOUGH REST. since i wake up at 5:20am for school, i try to be in bed by 10 the latest
β’ minimize junk food & sugars. for natural sugars eat fruit rather than candy (but yk you can incorporate that hot chocolate & marshmallowsπ)
β’ drink lotssss of waterrrr
following this, since it is winter time, we should also be taking care of our immunity. so make sure we are drinking our teasπ΅π,consuming vitamins, eating lots of warm yummy soups, & i also recommend packing a small pack of tissues in your purse everywhere u go, along with hand sanitizer. if you live in a busy city like me, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND WEARING A MASK ON THE TRAINS & BUSES. people are nasty & cough or sneeze without covering their mouth!
your spiritual health is a VERYY important thing to take care of. yeah physical is gonna have you looking good in & out, but your spiritual adds on to how you feel on the inside. this section varies as not everyone believes in a religion. for me, my family has a history of catholicism & christianity. me personally i try my best to keep up with my christian values. if you wanna be devoted to this or start learning, simply go to church when possible, read the bible or biblical stories, pray daily (not just when you need help but to also give thanks), & read a daily devotional.πππ
your mental health is what makes you, you! if your mental is not your best, you wonβt do your best. some people donβt realize it but your mental really controls your everyday decisions & can take a toll on your overall body. i could be wrong but i think your mental is the most important health to cater to. here are some things you can do this winter to take care of your mental health:
β’ detach from those who serve you no good
β’ delete contacts, cleanse your phone of unnecessary junk. you donβt need screenshots from 2023 about your past beefs.
β’ clean your room. clean room, clean mind
β’ sleeping at least 7-9 hours a night
β’ stimulate your mind with some puzzles, word games, coloring
the list can go on & on, but itβs so important to take care of your mental. coming from a girl who was in & out of depression for 2 years (still going thru it not gonna lie), your mental health can make or break you. so if you cater to it youβll feel so much better i promise :)
education can fall under the lines of your mental health. having a good education trains your mind to survive the world, thatβs why school was invented. BARBZ STAY IN SCHOOL DONT YOU EVER BE LAZYπ¦ so stay on top of your studies! this is a girly girl post so then i may as well help you how to romanticize school!
β’ keep a clique of friends that motivate you to do better
β’ have aesthetic little notes & stationary
β’ create & listen to a playlist that helps you feel confident! in my area i canβt be on my phone during school so i have to listen to my tunes before school starts
β’ study in cafes, starbucks, libraries. itβs more fun with friends! buy a pastry, a coffee & open them booksπππ
β’ totally optional, but make some hallway crushes. cute to look at, motivates you to come to school
β’ turn in assignments on time! create digital reminders if needed
