Nobody said that. The state of Georgia showed that when they kept this woman on life support to gestate and stuck her mother, April, with the bill.

The fact that certain people are clutching their pearls about black children after descretating a black woman's body to get that child shows how selective their outrage is.

You could add up every school shooting, adult and child, and the amount of victims (not just children) wouldnt even scratch the surface of the amount of babies that were aborted in one recent year.

3. Again, regardless of if you are pro-life or pro-abortion, the amount of children killed via abortion is FAR more than those killed in school shootings.

It’s actually insulting to compare the numbers. To those that care about children’s lives, it is insulting to pretend like gun violence against children takes more lives than abortion.

You can support abortion, but at least own up to what it is. At least be honest. Prepare better arguments than just blatantly false information.

If your "scientific community" comment is referring to that argument that "a majority of biologists agree that that life begins at conception," I have some unfortunate news for you.

The research you are referring to is a study done by Steven Andrew Jacobs, a University of Chicago grad student in comparative human development. In this research, he reached out 62, 469 biologists across American institutions to do his survey. However, he only got 5,502 responses affirming that "life begins at conception," meaning less than 10% of the group that anti-abortion activists like you claim supports your argument actually agrees with you. He did not get a majority of responses from the initial group (those 62,469 biologists across American institutions) nor did he actually even get a randomized sample size to represent said group, which erodes any scientific of statistical argument that you are making about whether or not a majority of the scientific community agrees with anti-abortion views.

Pro-choice have warned your side repeatedly that treating a fetus like a person would not just affect abortion bans, and that other people would be impacted because of their pregnancy outcomes. More specifically, we have warned your side that there is no inherent difference between aborted fetuses and miscarried fetuses, and that to criminalize abortion would inevitably lead to criminalizing miscarriages as well. Your side just has a listening problem.

If you really cared so much about the facts of the case, you could have researched it. The majority of these “arrested for having a miscarriage” instances I see are women who overdosed while pregnant and miscarried or had a stillbirth and are actually being arrested for drug possession.

Brittany Poolaw, who was arrested in Oklahoma in 2021, was using methamphetamine and marijuana while pregnant and the prosecutors focused on punishing her for that. I don't personally agree with punishing people for meth usage, because people who addicted to certain substances can relapse after they get out jail or prison. Incarceration does not solve drug addiction, whether the addicted person is pregnant or not. However, my personal opinion aside, her case is the not the same as Mallori's.

Both Adora Perez, who delivered a stillborn baby in California and was arrested, tested positive for methamphetamine along with her fetus. She did plead voluntary manslaughter and got 11 years in prison. However, California law doesn't recognize manslaughter when it comes to a fetus, and Perez was released and the court threw out her case. And after all of that, her case is still different from Mallori's.

Chelsea Becker was also arrested in California in 2019, after giving birth to an 8-month old stillborn fetus. Yes, she did have a history of methamphetamine usage, however her attorneys argued that she wasn't using drugs while she was pregnant. Her charges were also dismissed because of insufficient evidence. Her case is also different from Mallori's.

Brooke Shoemaker was arrested in Alabama after her stillbirth and tested positive for methamphetamine, after which she got 18 years in prison. Again, not the same as Mallori's.

Just to be clear: There is no similarity between being arrested for a having a miscarriage in a toilet, being held in jail for five months and then being let go because the people who arrested you did not have the evidence needed to prove malicious intent. That is very different from being held accountable for taking an illegal substance - even if you are pregnant.

Again, I personally do not agree with arresting people who are addicted because they can relapse once they are freed. However, that's not a factor in Mallori's experience.

Many mortuaries offer free caskets or urns and deeply discounted, if not free, burials and cremations. Flushing a baby is not legal and seems incredibly vulgar.

The majority of these “arrested for having a miscarriage” instances I see are women who overdosed while pregnant and miscarried or had a stillbirth and are actually being arrested for drug possession.

The cases vary based on details.

Brittany Poolaw, who was arrested in Oklahoma in 2021, was using methamphetamine and marijuana while pregnant and the prosecutors focused on punishing her for that. I don't personally agree with punishing people for meth usage, because people who addicted to certain substances can relapse after they get out jail or prison. Incarceration does not solve drug addiction, whether the addicted person is pregnant or not. However, my personal opinion aside, her case is the not the same as Mallori's.

Both Adora Perez, who delivered a stillborn baby in California and was arrested, tested positive for methamphetamine along with her fetus. She did plead voluntary manslaughter and got 11 years in prison. However, California law doesn't recognize manslaughter when it comes to a fetus, and Perez was released and the court threw out her case. And after all of that, her case is still different from Mallori's.

Chelsea Becker was also arrested in California in 2019, after giving birth to an 8-month old stillborn fetus. Yes, she did have a history of methamphetamine usage, however her attorneys argued that she wasn't using drugs while she was pregnant. Her charges were also dismissed because of insufficient evidence. Her case is also different from Mallori's.

Brooke Shoemaker was arrested in Alabama after her stillbirth and tested positive for methamphetamine, after which she got 18 years in prison. Again, not the same as Mallori's.

Just to be clear: There is no similarity between being arrested for a having a miscarriage in a toilet, being held in jail for five months and then being let go because the people who arrested you did not have the evidence needed to prove malicious intent. That is very different from being held accountable for taking an illegal substance - even if you are pregnant.

Again, I personally do not agree with arresting people who are addicted because they can relapse once they are freed. However, that's not a factor in Mallori's experience.

If the logic from the anti-abortion movement is that any woman who is arrested for her pregnancy outcome after she has a miscarriage is that she "probably was taking drugs," then I'll ask again.

The case in New York is being investigated as potential infanticide or abandonment because the police said the fetus appeared full-term. The individual being investigated was not arrested over miscarriage of a nonviable fetus, meaning that case is not comparable to Mallori's.

The McDonald's case involves someone allegedly trying to flush a live baby down a toilet.

Yes, Nevada is still a pro-choice state - which is the only thing you managed to be right about. Yet, Patience Frazier took abortion pills and the law that was used at justification to arrest her was a 1911 law (NRS 200.220), which makes it a felony to terminate a pregnancy using any drug or substance after 24 weeks' gestation.

Also, Brittany Watts literally went to the hospital and she was still arrested so you telling @virgoanmaenad that the easiest thing to do is notify a hospitaI is nonsense.
