Just an update.

So sorry to have gone MIA. I won't go into too much, but one of my dearest friends passed away unexpectedly. I have quit my job and am temporarily living with his family to help out with arrangements, and to assist his wife with their newborn.

Things are obviously just really intense and hectic. Sorry to everyone who has been looking forward to the next part of my story--it is coming, but I think you can understand why it's not a first priority right this second. Thank you all for being so sweet... I'll be back soon, I swear. Send good thoughts to my friends, if you get the chance. xx

I'm sorry I've been a little absent... I swear I will respond to everyone's messages soon! Had to take an unexpected trip to NYC on Saturday, but I'm heading back to my golden coast now and will be fully functioning again by tomorrow!

Because Adam is trying with every fucking part of his brain to stop himself from asking that question, but he's impulsive and in love and he just CAN'T, he can't keep the words from coming out, and he knows that once he asks then everyone will know--and, sure, he can play it off as a joke, just more bromance-banter, but Blake will know the truth. And he knows that later on he's going to get a text from Blake, and it's going to have a response--just a dollar amount, in jest. And Adam knows that he's going to laugh and pull out his wallet, count out the bills, take a picture and send that back to Blake. And Blake is going to show up on his doorstep a few hours later, and they're just going to look at each other, because they'll both know he shouldn't be there, but that they can't help themselves--they never could, and that's always been their problem. I feel like I've forgotten that sexualities are technically different from one another. Like, it's completely gray to me now. I don't care if it's a guy and a girl or two guys or two girls or a transsexual and a guy or a transsexual and a girl or Snape and Harry or Peter Pan and Tinkerbell or Tinkerbell and Wendy, what the fuck ever, whatever combination of people you want to put together.

Love is just awesome. Sex is pretty awesome, too, but love is what gets me.
