A message from Saeed Al-Err, the Palestinian who runs the only animal rescue shelter in the Ghazzah strip.

Those aren't clouds behind him. That's a plume of smoke from a bomb, which is shown at the end. The dog also seen at the end was the one Motaz and his colleague rescued and brought to the shelter (was seen by a vet today).

As of January 9th 2024, he is asking for people to urge international organizations to get cat and dog food into Ghazzah, or any efforts whatsoever to try and get food for the animals in his care and in the ownership of many Palestinians. Here's the google docs link with the email format to copy and paste and the emails and phone numbers of the people to contact for this urgent appeal. Please hurry. He doesn't have much food left for the animals.

What this man and his collaborators have been doing all throughout this genocidal campaign is nothing short of God's work-level of heroics, they've taken into their care as many injured and/or starving pets, horses, and donkeys as they've come across throughout all of the Gaza Strip and managed to remain at the place they run the animal shelter from until around a week or so. In the face of war, harassment, scarcity, and precariousness

Whatever you can submit to their aid, please send it. Other than the people taking refuge at the Gaza City Zoo along with all animals still alive, they're the only ones running a purpose-driven animal shelter within the Strip.
