*Yumiko confronted her mother after listening to the tape recording that she shipped to her earlier in the semester.*

Yumiko: Mother! Why did you kill Ryoba Aishi?!

Rei: That foolish woman just couldn’t listen to reason. She had gotten everything that she wanted. Sloppily, but still got what she wanted. A lovely life, a lovely husband, a beautiful daughter.

And yet, she was willing to risk losing it all for her revenge against that journalist. I did warn her that it would end badly.

Yumiko: ….

Rei: You see, daughter, I am very logical when it comes to taking a life. Granted, I could have solved my problems differently when I was your age, but she’s not the same. I didn’t do it for petty reasons.

It was my responsibility, my duty, to ensure the safety of my daughter and husband. Letting her live would only risk you and your father becoming her future victims. All because you remind her of what she did in 1989, the one mistake she can never forget.

Letting her go free would destroy everything that I worked hard for. I could not stand by and watch her take it away from me.

Ironic that she was slain by the same kind of person that she is….a killer.

Storytime!

At one point, Yumiko brought Itachi over to meet her family (this is before they end up together.)

(While Yumiko helps Yuzuki and Emika with dinner prep, Itachi decides to walk around upstairs and look at the pictures hanging on the walls.)

Itachi scans all the pictures of Yumiko and her childhood and family memories, which slowly leaves a bitter taste in his mouth.

Itachi: I don’t get it. What do I have to do to have bonds like this? Affectionate and warmth….loving parents and siblings…friends…

Itachi: Why can’t my achievements and strength….give me something like that…?..

Itachi: Seeing her happy face surrounded by a loving family….it pisses me off.

Itachi: …sigh… what is it feel….to be loved?

Random AU:

I was listening to disney music the other day and I randomly thought of the au of Beauty and the Beast but with Yumiko and Itachi

Where Itachi was turned into a beast for his cruel and rude personality. Yumiko would be Belle, the one to break the spell. But only if he can learn to love another and earn her love in return.

Who could ever learn to love a beast?

Again, random au but then again, Beauty and the Beast was always my favorite Disney movie growing up.

All the Itachi trauma thing made me remember I had something abt it and I was looking for it because I 100% forgot what it was until I FOUND this thingie, I don't remember when I did it, i just remember its an experimental thing and related with the AU

Fun thing is that I in fact wrote Itachi's name a thousand times on a paper just for the sake of it and used it here so the weirdo text had an excuse, I think he looks odd and I like that

So I noticed an inconsistency with Rei pursuing Ryoba in the 202X timeline.

Ryoba chases the journalist during Ayanos time. But in Yumiko’s, it’s a few weeks after Ayano’s. Sumire is freed upon Ryoba being taken out by Rei during Yumiko’s Story.

Sooo…..maybe I can make it work with hers. Like, maybe it’s taking longer for Ryoba to get the journalist than what’s actually happening in game?

Well, my story is non-canon to the game so maybe it’ll be fine. (Even though the Amasawas are so iconic that the might as well be canon lol)

Gonna be making an animation with pose mode where Itachi finally lets his emotions out around Yumiko after his mother unfortunately joined his shitty father due to her relying on him for everything. (According to his lore)

The Dark Past:

The atmosphere around Yumiko has changed drastically. Darkness filling the halls as she is consumed by it.

Yumiko: where am I? Senpai? Uekiya?

Yumiko sees a light and follows it before it disappears. Another light appears, where a girl with orange hair is standing under. Her back facing Yumiko. This girl, wearing the same uniform seen within the school’s display cases.

Yumiko: Hello? Is someone there?

Akira: Amasawa….

The girl turns around and stares at Yumiko. Her eyes empty and dark like a demon.

Yumiko: What the….who are you?

Akira: Amasawa….Where is she?

Yumiko: Huh?

As she backs away from the girl, Yumiko bumps into someone.

Aiko: Where is she….

Yumiko is shocked as several students surrounded her, wearing similar clothing and had similar eyes.

Chiyoko: Amasawa….

Banzai: Where is she…

Yumiko: Stop it…Stay away!

The students continue to close in on her.

Akuma: Where is she…

Arisa: Amasawa…

Ryuto: Amasawa…where is she?

Kazuo: WHERE IS SHE….

Kaede: AMASAWA….

Yumiko cowers down onto the ground in fear as the continued chanting of her surname continues.

Yumiko: GO AWAY! GO AWAY!

Kaede grabs her arm as Yumiko screams in fear.

Kaede: Your mother….AMASAWA…WHERE. IS. SHE….

Yumiko: LET ME GO! LET ME GO!

Yumiko screams as she tries pulling away. Suddenly a familiar voice slowly brings her back to reality.

Itachi: HEY! HEY! EASY! IT’S JUST ME!

Yumiko frantically looked around, noticing that the halls have returned to normal.

Itachi: It’s me! You’re okay!

Yumiko immediately wrapped her arms around him as she buried her face into his chest, sobbing.

Yumiko: Senpai! I didn’t know where I was…or who they were….but…. I….. I…..

Itachi hugs her back as he carefully brings her into the cooking club.

Itachi: Hey….Kohai….it’s okay….it’s okay….

Itachi softly hushes her as he carefully comforts her with soft and gentle back rubs.

Saki: What’s going on? What’s wrong with her?

Itachi: Beats me. She was screaming her head off about…them.

Saki: who’s them?

Itachi shrugged his shoulders as he carefully kissed the top of Yumiko’s head as he continued to comfort her.

Itachi: Hey….make- I mean, could you make her something sweet…please?

Saki: Weird hearing you be respectful…sure, I can make her one of my berry pastries.

Itachi nods at her as he sits down at the table, holding Yumiko in his arms.

Itachi: you’re okay, kohai…. I promise you…. I got you…

Got into an unexpected 8hour trip to hell and so I had the idea to draw these two idiots in the same situation but they actually look good ifykyk

I used their college versions of it because obviously they wouldn't own a jeep as highschoolers....

I'm very proud in how Ayano ended up looking even if this was just a doodle... no comments for Itachi, I hope he combust (lovingly) into flames.

A friend pointed out the sweat details THATS ON PURPOSE I just think Ayano handles weather changes better and that Itachi doesn't like nor handle summer as much as he think he does 😭 I'M NOT FANSERVICING(?) or maybe I am but I don't have to tell yall anything alright?!

Forgiveness

(It’s been an hour after classes and Yumiko hasn’t been able to find Itachi anywhere.)

Yumiko: where could he be?

(She stopped by the Gaming Club)

Yumiko: Guys, have you seen Itachi?

Gema: that jerk? I don’t care where he is.

Pippi: I think I saw him leave school already. Something about tree or something.

Yumiko: thanks

(She left, knowing exactly where he’s heading)

(Later that evening, while the sun is setting, Itachi is sitting on a bench surrounded by rows of cherry blossom trees.)

Itachi: ….

Yumiko: Senpai!

Itachi: ngh!

(He looks over at her, before he looks away)

Yumiko: There you are! I was worried about you! Why didn’t you wait for me?

Itachi: ….

(She slowly walks over to him, sitting down next to him)

Yumiko: Are you okay? I noticed that your hand is bandaged. What happened?

Itachi: ….why are you concerned about me?

Yumiko: Huh?

Itachi: You deserve better than me. I hurt you.

Yumiko: ….

Itachi: I saw them harassing you…and…. I….

Yumiko: hmm?

(He looks away as he clears his throat)

Itachi: I know that I’m supposed to be stoic and strong about myself….but….

Yumiko: but what?

Itachi: ….I’m terrified….of losing you….because of me….

(Yumiko stared at him in shock. Not once, has he ever been this open about himself. Showing her his vulnerable side, when she thought he didn’t have one.)

Yumiko: Senpai…

(She gently lifts his chin up, staring into his green eyes.)

Yumiko: It was an accident. You were defending me…

Itachi: I….. hurt you….

Yumiko: Not on purpose.

Yumiko: I know you would NEVER harm me….because I trust you.

Itachi: …..

Yumiko: We’re together, aren’t we?

(Itachi stared at her as his eyes slowly started to water)

Itachi: Yumiko….

(Yumiko pulls him into a hug, as he gently strokes his ginger hair and runs her hand comfortingly in circles on his back)

Yumiko: I forgive you….because I love you.

Itachi: *sniff*

(He slowly buried his face into her shoulder as he softly sobbed. Yumiko reassured him with a hushed tone and soothing words as he stroked his hair slowly.)

Itachi: I love you…..Yumiko.

Yumiko: I love you too….Tiger.

Itachi hugs her tightly as cherry blossoms gently fell around them. Yumiko embraced him with love and comfort.

Tensions

(The bullies incited the delinquents to target Yumiko for allegedly pranking them with paint)

Umeji: You shouldn't have done that.

Yumiko: I'm telling you, IT WASN'T ME!

Uekiya: Guys, calm down! I'm sure we can come to a peaceful solution if we just-

Gaku: SHUT UP!

Fujita: Uh huh, you not about to tell my friends to shut up!

???: HEY! GET AWAY FROM HER!

(Out of nowhere, Itachi tackles Umeji down to the ground, knocking him out. The other delinquents immediately turn to fight him.)

Gaku: Great! Now we have to deal with the grumpy cat!

Itachi: DO NOT CALL ME THAT! I WILL NOT LET YOU HARM HER!

(The delinquents started to fight him as the girls watched.)

Yumiko: Guys, stop!

Uekiya: Violence is not the answer!

Fujita: I'm not getting involved...let him defend himself.

(Itachi managed to knock a few of them down, but Gaku somehow got the upperhand. He jumped onto Itachi's back, slamming his fists into his shoulders, sides, and back.)

Yumiko: Get off him!

*punch!* *pow*

(Yumiko tries to get Gaku off his back. However, during the fight, one of their arms swing around accidentally and Yumiko gets hit and knocked to the ground.

Uekiya: Yumiko!

Fujita: Are you alright?!

Yumiko: *groans softly*

(Itachi finally knocked Gaku out as he pants heavily after the long fight.)

Itachi: Are you-

(Itachi eyes widen when he sees Yumiko on the ground, bruised slightly on her forehead.)

Itachi: Wait, are you?

Fujita: WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE? YOU HURT HER!

Yumiko: No...it's fine. It's just a bump.

Itachi: I....I did that?

(Itachi looks at his hands before looking back at Yumiko.)

Itachi: I...I didn't mean to....Yumiko...

Fujita: I think you've done enough, Itachi! Leave us alone and stay away from Yumiko! You're a monster!

Yumiko: No! It's fine....I'm fine!

Itachi: .....

(His eyes saddened slightly from the bruise on her forehead, before anger filled his eyes. he stormed off around the corner.)

Yumiko: Senpai! It's not your fault! I'm-

Fujita: Don't even bother, Yumiko!

Yumiko: But-

Fujita: I told you, he's not a good person!

Uekiya: Girls, now is not the time! We need to get Yumiko to the school infirmary!

Yumiko: O-Okay...

(Later in the locker rooms)

(The showers are empty, all for one stall. Itachi was resting his head against the tile as the water ran down his back.)

Itachi: You stupid fool! Why would you do that! How could you do that to her!

Itachi: DAMN IT!

(Itachi lets out a loud growl as he punched his tile, cracking in badly. He looks down as his knuckles, which started bleeding all over the ground.)

Itachi: ....

(He cradled his bloody hand, as he felt something filling his eyes.)

Itachi: You hurt her....You're a monster....Just like what Fujita said...

(Itachi slowly closed his eyes, as he softly cried to himself. Letting the tears run down his cheeks as he let his sadness out in full.)

Itachi: *sob*....She'll never stay with you....*sniff*

(Itachi continued to cry to himself, as he slowly slid down to sit down. he buried his face into his knees as the running water drowned out his sobbing.)
