After the birth of their beloved baby boy, Sonny thought they should probably just hurry up and elope before the kid ever found he was born out of wedlock.
Sonny: So hey, lets do this matrimony thing! Matilda: But Son, you're in your pjays... Sonny: Lookin' fiiine, I know. Now lets do this!
No, its okay Sonny. Matilda's got this. You just rest. Its not like you just pushed a watermelon out your Simhole.
Finally Matilda decided to pop! Look at that stern concentration as she pushes. And its a... BOY! Little baby Walker Small.
Matilda: A BOY? A boy. Are you sure? Have you checked for a penis?! YOU MEAN I HAVE TO DO THIS AGAIN? SERIOUSLY? No. Put it back. It needs to bake longer! Whyyyy... erh... I mean I love you baby kid thing boy person. Ugh.
Matilda was pretty cute though, she spent most of her pregnancy blissfully painting away in the privacy of the great outdoors.
Matilda: I'm going to paint for 48 hours straight if it gets me out of a single wide trailer, I swear to Bob.
Oh the joys of pregnancy! Matilde spent all 3 trimesters puking, dealing with horrible back aches, nearly peeing herself, and desperately wishing for a daughter so she never has to deal with pregnancy again. Oh, did I mention that I'm doing a matriarch Legacy?
One thing led to another and BAM! Matilda got knocked up... and as soon as she found out there would be another member of the family that she would have to interact with she suddenly felt pretty nauseated.
Did I mention awkward? Because Matilda sure as hell felt pretty damn derpy every step of the way to falling in love with poor Sonny. Thankfully being the insane Sim that he is, he didn't seem to mind too much and sparks finally started to fly.
Matilda: Uh, you uh... you think I'm attractive? Please don't think that. Sonny: But--, Matilda: NOPE. HUSH. NO. Oh fine just kiss me.
Meanwhile in the bedroom... twin beds... really Matilda? At least the setup doesn't seem to be hindering the awkward progression of Sonny and Matilda's budding romance.
Meet Sonny, your all around good guy. He loves to cook, and he just happens to be bat shit crazy. At least he cleaned up well, huh? I think we've got ourselves a DNA donor!
Pros to moving in with an almost complete stranger: you move up from squalor to a roof over your head via a single wide. Cons: the almost complete stranger happens to be insane. Fun!
Determined to get herself out of destitute Matilda set forth at a task she loved, and one she hated. Finding fossils outside, and having social interactions at the local pub - where she met Sonny Godfrey.
Matilda: Uh, erh. Hi. I'm Matilda... Do you have any money?! Sonny: Hi--what? Matilda: WANNA MOVE IN?
Matilda is forced per legacy rules to live in squalor essentially. Poor thing. I did manage to give her a single "modesty" wall, yet it doesn't really seem to offer much privacy.

I finally managed to start a new Legacy! Meet Matilda. She's the most socially awkward Sim I've played in a while. Let the legacy begin!
