ooc ; they are very cute, but no. Yuki called Tohru his mother in the manga, and since then it’s been impossible for me to ship them romantically. Because it would be like shipping him with his mom.

Kyo was blinded by his own self pity. He refused to see the pain that Yuki also held onto.

“Akito nearly worshipped you!” His fist met the wall.

“Get outta my sight, you ugly rat. Don’t tell me what I ‘prefer’ or any ‘a that crap! Y’know what I’d really ‘prefer?’

If you were dead.”

He was hurt. No matter how much he tried to convince himself otherwise, the words struck deep. It reminded him of what his parents told him. He however, locked his jaw and nodded tightly.

“... I see.”

With that, he removed himself from the room without another word.

it wasn’t like being in the zodiac was a good thing. With how Akito controlled their lives and made them suffer if they ever got close to anyone. Akito’s hate was saved mostly for the females of their family.

{♞} — The physician cocked a thin eyebrow upwards, his hand slipping into his pocket as he slid his shoes off by the ripped, torn shōji. “Are you truly asking me why I am here, Yuki?” Hatori drawled curiously, feldgrau orbs cutting to the side and examining the hallway that lead down into Shigure’s office. By the air of calm silence settling over the usually rowdy, noisy home, Hatori could only assume that neither Shigure nor Kyo were home.

Really, Shigure…?

“I was invited by the mutt, however, seeing as he isn’t home at the moment…” Hatori scowled, eyebrows knitting together as frustration flitted across his features and annoyance colored his toned. “I suppose I will have to wait. I have news from the estate concerning Akito; I’ve already taken the rest of the day off to deliver such news and visit with that acquaintance of mine, so I might as well stay. Does my presence inconvenience you, Yuki?”

Yuki closed his eyes and breathed in deep. He’d almost forgotten how much of a grouch Hatori is. Purple hues raise to meet his as he responded, “Of course not, Hatori. I was just worried if something was wrong,” and he still wasn’t sure if everything was fine. As usual, a shudder crept down his spine at the mention of Akito. Even after he had moved out of that damned house; he still had to hear that awful name. It was strange that Shigure invited him over and didn’t have the decency to be here when the doctor got here.

“News, huh?”

He mused out loud, turning back to the book that was open on the kotatsu in front of him, his legs tucked underneath to shield himself from the cold outside. He pretended as if he didn’t care to know what this news entailed, even though on the inside he was brimming with curiosity. What was so important that Hatori had to take the whole day off, he wondered.

What's your favorite furuba ship?

Hm, interesting question anon.

Involving Yuki, my favorite ship is Kyo/Yuki. I just love the dynamics between the two, how they’re constantly arguing, how both of them strive to be more like the other. And despite how much they didn’t get along in the beginning, they ended up becoming good friends at the end. Yuki/Kyo is a favorite of mine since I first saw how they behaved with each other. Yuki/Machi is also one of my faves, as well as Hatori/Yuki.

Not involving Yuki, another one of my favorites is Kyo/Tohru and Hatsuharu/Tohru. I barely ship any of the canon ships tbh, lol. I also enjoy Hatori/Ayame and Hatori/Tohru. I’m a ship whore lol I’ll ship all the ships.
