To be honest I don't like him but I do like how they wrote him. I think him being there really represents how brainwashed a lot of the students there are, and so by that standard they are very obedient (except Cheslock but he does his own things).

I don't know how controversial this is, but I don't think killing Derrick Arden makes the P4 bad people.

I mean look at this:

This is extreme abuse. Physical, emotional, and even sexual.

And if a kid had died from Arden and his friends' torture? I don't think he'd have cared.

With his connections to Queen Victoria, he would have gone on to at least become a serial abuser and possibly a murderer. He reminds me of the rich kids in Point Blank (the Alex Rider series) who hunted Alex through the woods for sport.

And if he's willing to do this to his peers, imagine what he'd do to servants. Or say he went overseas to one of England's colonies. What would he do to the people Indigenous to those areas?

I think Greenhill saved the fictional world from one more monster.
