Ok so, turns out, the original post had more details than I originally thought thanks to a few people letting me know of it.

I think Eric should at least hire a researcher when he starts developing food items/clothing items/new locations/ect+ for the game. Just so that way he can add the culture behind it so it doesn’t come off as offensive

I still don’t think he did it on purpose, since he’s mostly a one man team 90% of the time, it’s more like he did it out of being too busy to do it (imho ofc)

Thanks for updating me on the actual situation to those few people that messaged me about it! I totally agree that he should do research on cultures before adding stuff in so it doesn’t come off as accidentally harmful.

I would much rather have white people wanting to learn about my cultures through trying to write about them than to have them be so scared of getting it less than perfect that they’d ignore them completely. I’ve gotten an ask like this before, so like I said: as an author of original underage characters, it’s okay to age them up. it’s kinda unsettling for most to write about minors specifically when you hone in on their age, but if you age them up and make it clear that they’re aged up, I promise it’s okay.

I’d rather protect real people’s feelings and lives over fictional ones that will never even know you exist, or exist themselves.

mha chapter 305 spoilers:

CAN WE TALK ABOUT THE FACT THERE’S A KATSUKI BAKUGOU IN THE LAST PANEL FROM WHEN HE HAD ONE FOR ALL IN THE MOVIE “HERO’S RISING”!?

Like, this panel specifically is interesting to me. I know that it’s probably not 1000% Katsuku Bakugou but, the fact that it is like....98.99% close to how Katsuki looked like in the movie is uncanny.

Plus, let’s look at Katsuki’s personality. He’s always avoiding direct eye contact with Deku for whatever reason. he only just /now/ started to look at him in the eyes.

But during the movie, he was still fighting with Deku so, it makes sense that he’s not looking at Deku during this panel. Especially since Deku turned into his kid self and Katsuki has never looked at him when they where kids(well, older kids but, you get my point)

Anyways. the movie is canon now and nobody can tell me otherwise. That’s definitely 100% a Katsuki Bakugou look alike. And until we see the face properly, nobody can convince me that he’s not Katsuki Bakugou.

Is it weird that I actively dislike when my ships become canon?? Like, the moment it goes canon (which is rare) I go "ugh, this shit again"

I mean, it depends, especially since sometimes the authors end up being really bad at writing that particular ship as a couple instead of the will they won’t they (looking at you maximum ride)

Fanon ships shouldn’t become canon anyways because more often than not, the writers won’t know how to write them to where the fandom would like it.

And it’d just cause more problems in the long run...(Looking at you, Shallura shippers that got their ship canon but the writer’s couldn’t write romance to save their fucking lives so the ship just ruined literally everything anyways.)
