It’s finally out. I’m in tears. I just sat and listened to the whole things and I feel like i’m the happiest and the saddest. My favorite is Don’t Come Back. So worth the wait. -Stacy B

Today was long and operated on very little sleep. I am pretty certain that this was my expression for the entire day.

We are terrified to ask for help. We refuse to seem weak; to be vulnerable. We ridicule someone who has a problem with their head, yet sympathize with those who have a problem with their heart. Is your brain not also an organ? We falsely indoctrinate each other to think that we should be ashamed to ask for help, but help is what we need. This sadness is in so many of us and we stay so quiet. Depression is hiding in the basement of a burning house.

Funny how we think we’re alone in all our suffering so often. I was sitting on a train on my way home from work once, in the winter of all of my worst, I found a piece of paper crumpled up on the ground and it read, “We had a fight last night and I went home. For the very first time in a long time I sleep in my own bed alone.” The rest was too torn up and covered in foot prints to be properly read, but near the end there were a few more words and they said, “I was buying flowers around the time that he was sinking his teeth into you. I saw you both sleeping in your bed through the window and left them at your front door. They came with a note that said "Sometimes I get unreasonable, but you always deserve flowers. I see them and they remind me of you.” I saw that “your bed” was written strangely as if ‘your’ was initially meant to be written ‘our’ but the author had a change of heart. It wasn’t until I got home that I realised this was my note. The long winter and quiet and loneliness numbed me to the point that I was almost able to forget. All my pain was part of another life that I had once before lived. I may not forget, but I must forgive.
