Smashbox Full Exposure Travel Palette : Reviews & Swatches

Hi lovelies! I bought this palette last year for my traveling. As soon as I saw how compact and small it was, I bought it, without even much paying attention to the colors. But as you can see, the colors are very earthy toned and beautiful. Shades that I would use daily basis. They are perfect for going from day look to night. There are 4 matte shades, and 4 shimmery shades. Yes, they are not the world’s most amazing qualities, but they are definitely good enough for traveling. I find the matte ones are more creamier than the shimmer ones. And shimmery ones are a bit powdery, but you can still work with them.  I do find the price could have been better. But then I’m in Sweden and everything is twice or more pricier here than USA or other places. Also I bought when the price was reduced around the Christmas last year. 

As you can see, the colors are very neutral and any aged person can wear them without any problem. The palette can also be a great gift to someone who might be interested in exploring more in the makeup world, without breaking the bank!

Mini cactus garden

Hello people on internet!  After seeing my cactus picture, a lot of you have asked me about how I decorated it. So here I am! I have the world’s tiniest cactus garden ever, hah. But this is mine and it’s super cute, that stays in my room. As you might all know cactus doesn’t need much attention or care at all. As they generally lives in dry places such as desert. You can water them once a month, or as I do every 28 days or so, and they will be fine. Remember to never drown them in water, you can actually kill cactus that way.  There are so many different kind of cactus, and from various price range. I have done in the most affordable way that I could find and I love it! And I have got everything from IKEA.

Michael Kors MK5055 (Runway Gold-Tone Chronograph Watch) : Review / Lookbook

My very first watch by Michael Kors. And my most favorite piece till today. I got it about 3 years ago, and I’m still in love with it.

This watch is statement-making yet feminine, oversized links yet not “huge” in a bad way, it just fits perfectly on my wrist, for a lot of ladies this might be even a mid-size one. Such an elegant piece of accessory, which goes with any look. So elegant. I wear it for my everyday use, but and also parties or any official events. I would definitely recommend this watch to everyone. Doesn’t matter what age you are, you would rock it.

Mac Pro Blushes : Reviews & Swatches

Hello beautiful people!

I recently purchased some of the Mac’s Pro refill pan to fill my palette. 7 blushes, so one didn’t fit in the palette. (Have to get another palette soon!). By the swatches you can see how beautifully, pigmented the blushes are. If you are not a makeup junkie like I am, and get these, I don’t think you would ever need to get more blushes ever again. From fairest to deepest skin tone, they looks absolutely beautiful on all different kind of skin tone. And for my skintone reference: I’m between an NC 35-40 (Mac’s).

I purchased 7 Mac Pro blushes (Pro palette refill pans) along with a single Large Pro Palette and a Blush x6 Pro Palette Insert to put blushes in. Since I got 7 blushes, so one didn’t fit in. (Will have to buy more palettes later).

Here are all the 7 Mac Pro blushes swatches on my arm. 

Taupe: Matte finished, soft gray beige-brown. This is more of a “contouring” sort of shade and not necessary a blush color for myself.

Cantaloup: Satin finished, warm toned peachy-brown. For everyday use, this one is beautiful.

Burnt Pepper: Matte finished, warm rich terracotta, medium dark crossed between red and copper with warm undertones.

Devil: Satin finished, bright coral orange. I feel like it also has a bit of red undertone.

Apple Red: Satin finished, “Fire Engine Red” as Mac describes it. They are on the point with naming the blush. Don’t be intimidated by the color though, just use it very light handed and it would look beautiful on the check.

Rhubarb: Satin finished, crossed between magenta and raspberry pink. Has a bit of purple in it. Goes smooth on the cheeks.

Azalea: Bright Iridescent frost finished, bright pink, smooth texture with a beautiful sheen. Which gives just the right amount of glow on the cheek.

All of my Mac Pro refill pan blushes are bought from Mac Cosmetics (Mac’s swedish site). They retails for 160 crown, which is about 20 USD dollars. When you buy in a pan form, you would need a palette to put them in. Either from Mac or other brand. (Just like I have done it too, as you can see in the above).

MAC "A Fantasy of Flowers" collection (kicks.se) Haul

Hi beautiful people! Mac’s “A Fantasy of Flowers” collection came out a while back here in Sweden, so I had to pick a couple of things from there, (they are just so pretty). However, in the end I could only get a mineralize blush “Petal Power” from the collection. I also had ordered the lipstick “Dreaming Dahlia” but when I got the package at home, there was no lipstick and said the lipstick was out of stock. Anyhow, with that, I also ordered Mac’s Pro Longwear Foundation and a lipstick. But another thing went wrong there; the foundation that I ordered NC42 was way too dark for me, (My online-swatch-checking just went wrong). At least I got to change the foundation later and got NC35 instead. Although from Mac counter they had matched me to NC37, but I noticed that the foundation oxidized on me when I tried at the counter, so I got NC35 instead, since I like to layer products, bronzers and such. So again, while changing back the Pro Longwear foundation, I ended up picking up another blush two lipsticks from Mac’s permanent line. So here I got some pictures of them. And I shall get back to you guys with swatches/look/review, etc later again.

Yves Rocher Haul

Hi lovelies! I don’t know how many of you are known with this brand “Yves Rocher”. It’s a French based company that is known for being vegan and is huge over here in Europe.  I have used so much of their products over the years, they are vegan, good for skin, smells amazing and great price.

Finally that spring has arrived here in Sweden I saw that Yves Rocher just released some spring fragrances, lotions and various pretty things. So got these few things to try.

Fresh Rose edt, Fresh Rose body lotion, Botanical Expertise body lotion, So Elixir Purple Yves Rocher body lotion, Cherry Bloom shower gel, Cherry Bloom body lotion, Cherry Bloom edt, Pure System daily exfoliating cleanser, Elixir Youth energy night care and Cherry Bloom edt (mini)

Cherry Bloom shower gel, Cherry Bloom body lotion, Cherry Bloom edt and another Cherry Bloom edt (mini) Love this Spring special cherry set. I have been using this perfume so much lately, both at home, and going out. Of course it doesn't lasts long, since it's a"edt" version. The lotion smells amazing too, but won't say it's a good moisturizer, it's just smells nice and lovely for spring/summer time, to feel fresh and smell good.Can't complain about the shower gel either. All of these has cherry scent that leaves a sweet and soft fragrance on the skin.

Fresh Rose body lotion Love this lotion so much, has very light rosy scent, little musky too, feels fresh and smooth on the skin.

So Elixir Purple Yves Rocher body lotion, Botanical Expertise body lotion So Elixir Purple Yves Rocher body lotion: The name is on point. It is very strong perfumed body lotion, floral-woody fragrance. And I LOVE IT! Botanical Expertise body lotion: I don't like much of the smell, or well, it has very light scent, but its great for my dry skin, leaves my skin velvety and soft for long time.

Pure System daily exfoliating cleanser, Elixir Youth energy night care 

Pure System daily exfoliating cleanser: I loved this exploiter so much that I went and ordered 3 more later. It's not harsh for my skin at all, smells lovely and just makes my skin feels very very clean. Elixir Youth energy night care: It's not my favorite one, smells way too strong for my taste. Especially that it's an night cream. 

Fresh Rose edt, Cherry Bloom edt Two favorite my scent. Cherry one smells of course like cherry with a hint of muskiness, and rose one has rosy-woody scent. Both are lovely for spring/summer days. They just doesn't last that long cause they are "edt" version and not "edp"

e.l.f (eyeslipsface) Mineral Lipstick: Swatches & Review

Hello lovelies, I don’t have that many but only 3 lipsticks from e.l.f’s mineral line. Fantastic vegan lipsticks.

Swatches without flash Heads-up: On my lip swatches, I've only used the lipstick itself, no lipliner or any gloss.

Runway pink: A quite famous nude color from the line and also my most favorite one. I have used it a lot since got it. If you are darker than me, you might need to use a darker lip-liner or maybe a gloss on top. For me it works just fine. I use it on its own, also with gloss, depends on my mood. I also do like to use a nude or very light pink lip-liner with it. However as you can see on this picture, my lips were a bit dry, hence the dry patches  showing. So make sure to use a lip-balm before to have them moisturized. 

Party pink: Perfect everyday wearable pink shade. 

Rustic brick: A browny dark shade, with a bit red undertone in it. I actually bought this after seeing a review from YouTube. She was similar skin-tone to me, and she said it'd be a great nude. Actually in real life, it's not a nude shade for me but just a beautiful dark brown shade. I have and still use it, just not that much, since brown is usually my least favorite lipstick color to wear.  Overall:  Great lipsticks for affordable price. The line has lot of everyday wearable colors to choose from. Super creamy and glides like a charm on lips. The lipstick has satin finish, which means they are not glossy, neither fully matte. They look more of a matte look, but have lot of moisturizers in. They stay about 4 hours on my lips, without needing to re-apply.

Pros: Pigmented, sleek classy looking packaging, affordable, no fragrance. Cons: Don't have enough bold and fun colors Price: $8 Where I bought from? Urban Decay Naked Palette Swatches & Review

Hi makeup-junkies! You might have already heard of this very well known and popular natural palette from Urban Decay, or maybe you haven’t. So here is my version of thoughts. But let me tell you that I quite agree with all the hype about this product and all other thousands of reviews that you can find online. Cause I’m mostly a natural-eyeshadow-lover, so I love my natural palettes. This eyeshadow naked palette comes with an eyeshadow brush and a travel sized primer potion.

From right to left:

Virgin - Shimmery nude (pink under-toned), satin shade, perfect for highlighting the brow bone, or for the inner duct.

Sin - Frosty champagne color, great for all-over-lid

Naked - Light matte brown, great for blending in or depending on your skintone, it can be great for the crease too.

Sidecar - Glittery dark golden bronze.

Buck - Dark matte brown, amazing for crease. 

Half Baked - Golden bronze shimmer 

         From right to left:

Smog – Quite of a brownish golden shimmer

Darkhorse – Dark bronze shimmer (Green under-toned)

Toasted – Taupe shimmer but feels like it has a bit of pink undertone.

Hustle – Mocha, taupe/plum under-toned

Creep – Black with sparkle

Gunmetal - Dark grey with sparkle, has blue under-tone.

Only two matte shadows, I would prefer a couple of more matte shadows in the palette. Overall: For a natural eyeshadow lover like me, it’s a must have in your collection, I use it daily, and it’s great for traveling too. With only this palette you can do so many looks, and not all of them have to be beige or brown. e.l.f (eyeslipsface) Essential lipstick: Swatches & Review

Hello my lovelies, I have meant to do a little review of these essential lines of lipstick from e.l.f for a while. So here I am! e.l.f (eyeslipsface) is one of my favorite brands. Which is very affordable and good quality of products. I won’t say everything from this brand is amazingly great, but most of them are. So, let’s talk about these lipsticks. I don’t own every single of their lipsticks, but I own 8 of them from their essential line.

They are affordable, fabulous colors to choose from, glides on like a charm. They needs to touch-up every 4 hours or so, since they are extremely creamy. Mini eBay Accessory Haul

I’m new at this eBay shopping. I have only discovered how great eBay is for random shopping, only about a month ago or so. I had ordered a bunch of things from there, and got these accessories delivered today. They are all under 2$. Amazing right?!

I love my heart pendent and knuckle rings too. But the knuckle rings are too big for me as you can see. Otherwise they are absolutely great for the price.

  According to their shipping information’s, it said to be delivery within 4-6 weeks. But surprisingly I got them in just couple of weeks. I also got these with free shipping. So for only a couple of bucks it’s great deal. Have you guys ever got anything from eBay? Your experience? :)
