Okay. So I don't even come on Tumblr much anymore and that's how serious I am about this. What, what on earth has. They done? Jared Leto had so much hope, so much ability and everybody was really excited for him to play The Joker, everybody was stoked at the first still shot on his Instagram of him recreating that classic "The Killing Joke" pose with the camera. And they go fuck it all up right here, and I'll tell you why in detail. Firstly, and most prominently, his tattoos. I don't know of a single joker in all the comics who have had tattoos (I think a few alternative universe Jokers did but that shouldn't count towards this) and there's one big factor as to why he doesn't. Yes he likes pain and suffering and probably harms himself, but he doesn't give himself any features which he could be identified by, such as tattoos, he likes to stay as incognito as possible (until of course he wants to show himself, in which he does all guns blazing) but my point is he is the king of disguise, he often tells Batman "how do you hide something from the worlds greatest detective?... You stick it right under his nose" and this sums him up brilliantly. I mean his own suit, his iconic suit, he even made that himself, with materials he had others buy (who were later killed of course) from several different places so he could never be tracked by a tailor or by police following up his purchases, all loose ends had been tied. Secondly, the teeth, my god the teeth. Of course criminals aren't known for keeping up to date with their dentist appointments, but he has never had black teeth, ever. He has yellow teeth because it contrasts with his white skin, it makes his sinner, and albeit, famous smile all the more frightening. It singles him out from the rest and I think this is were they are going wrong. Ayer said his Joker is closely related to the Joker from "The Killing Joke" comic line and yet I fail to see one aspect from that incorporated into his design, apart from his pale skin which in my opinion isn't even pale enough. They're trying too hard to make him his own "movie villain" rather than a comic villain, but that's what he is so they should stick to the script regarding his appearance and not tangent off onto some god forsaken shithole. I think I've made my opinion clear, make sure to tell me how you feel. I will say this though, I was too overly-enthusiastic about Heath Ledgers Joker at first, but he had been the best so far, hopefully Jared Leto can prove me wrong too.
Everybody have had those really depressing times in life where somebody is waving at you and you wave back, only to discover they're waving at somebody behind you. Well let me tell you what level I reached today. I was at work and we had all finished and we're going for a count (work in stadium security) and I hear somebody from behind me shout my name so I turn and there's a girl I spoke to once waving frantically at me. So I stop and wave back, and she smiles so I think "right well, best not be rude and go talk to her". So as I'm walking I feel a small centre of doubt in the pit of stomach as her eyes seems to be nervously glancing at me and back away until finally, I realise I am not her intended target. But at this point I am right in front of her less than 2 feet away and let me tell you, no man should do what I did.. I walked straight passed her going red in the face and shouted a random name aimed behind her, running into the toilet as if following the present person and then locked myself into the cubicle for around 2 minutes until she had finally passed with enough distance to safely manoeuvre my way to my area.

Congrats, we did it, 2014 was the hottest year ever, yay
(This is a pretty ironic post considering this week’s OKTBS video is about cold)
This week, NASA announced that 2014 was the hottest year since 1880, according to temperature records collected from thousands of stations distributed around the globe. You can find out more about the bad news here, and in this video put together by the folks at NASA Goddard:
To make matters worse, nine of the ten warmest years on record have occurred since the year 2000.
People who deny humans’ role in climate change like to claim that there’s been a “pause” in Earth’s warming as a way to poke holes in the science. It was the most common response from deniers after I released my recent vivideos about climate change on the OKTBS YouTube channel. I have no idea where these people are getting their information, but… well, the data speaks for itself.
It’s getting hotter, faster. A majority of Americans agree with this (although their politicial leaders often do not).
When will it be enough to act?
I don’t want to write the same story in 2016.
