Hey hey there. Thanks! Any paper will do, you could use normal paper and add some card covers to make it thicker. Otherwise 200gsm paper or above will feel more like card. You would have to set it up with the back page which we have included in the first release pack. But that you can set up on your printer or ask your local print shop to do. Hope it goes well and you enjoy the game. LEt us know what you think.
There are already three expansion packs - Tempest, Blood Rage and Team Avatar. But yes, there are more planned. It’s been a busy period for me here but expect the next expansion announcement in the next few days!

You can have them in your life. Just head over to probending.horsehorsetigerliger.com and click on the “Download and Print” link. There you will find PDF of the starter decks and expansions which you can print off and then play.
Since this is a Fan Game for obvious legal reasons we can’t sell it, so we thought this was the best way to get it out there.

Expansion Pack # 3: Tempest
Here it is. Airbending.
While I realise that airbending isn’t a part of pro-bending within the show, I think that the potential it holds makes including it in our game kind of essential. It’s simply too exciting to imagine the possibilities of how it would work and while I haven’t had to sort out all the pragmatics of it, I think it makes the game even better.
This time, we have 27 new cards for Pro-bending : The Card Game.
Heading us up are three airbenders, namely Aang, Tenzin and the newly able Bumi (I love his wild card ability, and that word play.) Those are not all the airbenders, but they’re going to introduce you to the element.
We have included all sorts of moves, including an illegal suffocate which kinda hints at a darker side of airbending that exists.
We also have some cool assists, supports and locations.
I really hope you guys enjoy adding an airbender to your team and seeing what happens with that spanner. Should be great.

Expansion Pack # 2: Bloodrage
Here we have 9 new cards for Pro-bending : The Card Game.
This time we are bringing you some devastating alternative bending: Metalbending, Lightningbending and Bloodbending!
As powerful as some of the alternative bending moves are, remember that they carry a penalty each, and they can only be used with pro-benders who are able.
So far we have Toph, who can metalbend, Prince Zuko, who can lightningbend and in this pack we’re giving you Amon, who can bloodbend.
The insane Azula brings us a new Assist while the Rabaroos round off this set with a nice new Support.

Here we have 9 new cards from the original series of Avatar The Last Airbender.
3 new pro-benders: Katara, Toph and Prince Zuko.
A move each in the energy zap that is Sabre, some great proximity play with Praying Mantis and some defence for Firebenders with Fireshield.
Appa as our awesome new Assist, which lets you play with player positions, Omashu the new location to help out its Earthbenders and a potential micro game changer in the support Self Sacrifice.

Pro-bending the Card Game Card Highlight - Republic City
Locations across the Avatar world are iconic, and we wanted to have that impact within the card game. In the show, games only take place in Republic City, which we can see here, but we’ve included some other locations across the world. Republic City is a free, “equal” city, and so it allows all element types to be bent. Location cards affect the entire game and last until another is played or it is destroyed.
You’ll also find its location in the world in the top left corner!
