I love it when Derek is the calmer one in the relationship. He's so patient with Stiles, and it barely takes an effort, while others are gritting his teeth at Stiles' antics. Like, Stiles will rage and spew vile insults and pace around, gesturing loudly, and his heartbeat will race the longer he goes, but Derek is all it would take to let the steam out.

Derek will give him one (1) look and say 'calm down' in that authoritative, quiet, heavy voice, and Stiles immediately shuts up and goes to bury himself to Derek's side to sulk and pout. Derek knows how to handle him!!! He's so gentle and patient!!! But he'll put a full stop to Stiles' antics if he sees it go beyond a safe point!!

I just love brat tamer Derek and Stiles fighting everyone but him...
