Trigger warnings

Hmm. There was recently a thing on my dash where someone was asked to tag certain potentially triggery things, and it got me thinking. On this blog, I try to remember to tag for gifs, violence, and gore. I don't always succeed- just now had to go back and add a gif tag to a recent post. If I forget to tag anything, or if there are any other trigger warnings you want me to tag for, anything at all, I want you to know that you can ask and I will comply. Have a good day. :)

Wolverine Season One

His relationship with Charles is one of the few things I really like about Wolverine. Actually, I usually only like Wolverine in stories where his relationships with other people are explored- Wolverine the father/older brother figure (beginning with Kitty; excluding certain painful story lines that may or may not have involved Daken who I still miss), Wolverine the friend (notably Kurt), Wolverine the grumpy but dependable colleague (this used to be a thing for him and Scott, for example).... I hardly ever read stories just for Wolverine himself.

Everything about Amelia makes me love her more.

And she is the perfect person to be saying this, too, seeing as she's the one person who's worked with both sides--seen both points of view--been very close to both leaders--and always made her own choice. She left Charles when she'd had enough of him, and she's argued with Magneto and occasionally directly disobeyed his orders when she didn't think she could persuade him to change his mind but still felt strongly that he was wrong.

I was really excited when Mike Carey brought her back, but then she just disappeared. Admittedly, that IS her power. Have all the writers just forgotten about her?

Ooh, I like this one. A bit more weight on Beast, perhaps, but otherwise they-and their costumes-are very well thought out and adapted.

Also, the hair on Professor X is throwing me off, but I suppose a bald, female Xavier could be too similar to Cassandra Nova.
