I feel like not enough people realize that people under enormous strain act really really fucking Weird

things humans are known to do when stressed:

-hallucinate

-cry over what seems to be small things

-become furiously angry over what seems to be small things

-hit a self destruct button over and over again

-lose all sense of reality

-becoming straight up unable to communicate

-view every situation as life or death

-experience delusions/become vulnerable to irrational worldviews

-perceive hostility where none exists

-become extremely nauseous and/or throw up

-stop engaging in sleeping/eating/basic hygiene

-stop processing sensory input

-process way too much sensory input all at once

-lash out at others/themselves

-and more!

being able to recognize when a human (ie. you or another person) is so stressed out they cannot think clearly is VERY important for conflict resolution and diffusing emotional crisis. highly recommend trying to train yourself at being able to recognize that state of panic- there is a point in which logic and rationality is useless and you have to address the underlying emotional issue first. knowing that saves everyone a lot of pain and struggle.

TUMBLR ADS ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO AUTO-PLAY AUDIO! THAT IS A BUG AND YOU SHOULD REPORT IT!

"This ad is auto-playing audio" is literally on the drop down menu for reporting an ad. Tumblr isn't trying to implement this! Don't protest this "new policy", cause it's not one.

Report the broken ads.

They are not supposed to automatically redirect you without you clicking them, they are not supposed to cause a pop-up, they are not supposed to freeze your screen.

This is all bugs or malicious advertising which is also against tumblers ad policy. You should report all ads which do this.

struggling to sleep, cant shake the feeling that something might be physically wrong with my brain. might just be anxiety im not sure, brain feels all weird, kinda hurts and that happens sometimes not frequently but every now and then. also just feel out of it most of the time, not sure if im like entirely mentally present? sometimes it feels clearer then other times, i think i said that before.

I get like that sometimes too and maybe you just need to go outside and bring some water with you. Just. At the porch, deep breaths, big sips, and go back inside and bundle up under the covers when you feel a bit better. Sometimes it's just oxygen deprivation and dehydration that makes your brain weird
