Your mouth speaks softly But I hope You kiss hard

It’s hard because I want to call you

My best friend again

As if nothing changed

I want to tell you the things I’ve always told you

Pick up the story

Where we left off

Years ago

As if the pages we skipped were just stuck together

Those chapters lost for the moment

But

We’d better things to do than read

I am Over a decade Removed From their words And yet They can still bring Fresh tears to my eyes   So how can you tell me  not to give them a reaction  if they still hurt me  when they don't even  speak
