Elie Saab Spring 2014 Couture.

hii there :) my prom is on april 29th, and i have simple gold heels and a gold statement necklace to go with my dress. what hairstyle and makeup would you recommend? i have brown eyes and shoulder length brown hair; i’d prefer to wear my hair down but i want to know what you think? thanks in advance guys and love your blog!

ADVICE

I actually would like you with a high bun or hair in a pony tail, especially if your going to be wearing a necklace like that close to the neck. It makes it look so classy and elegant, especially with a short dress! As for makeup, I would suggest a gold and black smokey eye!

Dainty Spliced Dress

My prom is in two weeks and I was wondering what you're off hairstyle you would recommend to go with a spaghetti strap dress (I have insanely long hair) an and what kind of makeup you would recommend to go with a light blue dress? Thanks!

Go for a half up half done look. Or take the sides and pin them back with a cute design. I dont recommend doing any full updo just because it might not last all night. Long hair weighs down and curls don’t usually last either.

For a light blue dress, you can also wear a light blue shimmery color on the lid! then a blue liner smoked out

I have a dress for my formal that is white lace over a layer of peach silk material... am wearing nude shoes but not sure for other jewellery and also makeup!! will have my hair half down in curls :) please help!

is your dress strapless? or does it cover your chest? that would depend on your jewelry and whether you would need a necklace or not. I love pearls with nude and peach. As for your makeup, nothing too heavy. just a light shimmery color on the lid, eyeliner on the top and mascara for the eyes. Also I would go for a nude lip with gloss!
