HELLO. I am in fact, alive, just graduated!

Now that I am free for a bit, my Next Big Project is to harness my autism and make the entirety (at least, as much as I can) of the warriors family tree genetically accurate!!

I will be using @bonefall’s family trees as a base, since, yknow, they fixed the inbreeding and a bunch more

May's drawing is for the Javan rhino.

The Javan rhino has been listed as critically endangered on IUCN Red list since 2019, and only have approximately 50 individuals left now. They are estimated to live around forty years, and are mostly solitary creatures — only really coming together to mate, or for the mother to raise her calf. They once lived all over Southeast Asia, but the remaining individuals are currently in Ujung Kulon National Park located in Indonesia. A large part of the Javan rhino population were killed off by trophy hunters, and also hunted as agricultural pests. Many were also killed for their horns in order to use them in Traditional Asian Medicine. Many rhinos are still hunted for their horns, although now more for a symbol of status and wealth rather then medicine. Habitat loss, poaching, and potential inbreeding due to their low numbers still pose a large threat to the remaining Javan rhinos. They are also in danger from potential natural disasters. Anak Krakatau, a volcanic island not to far from the park, could wipe out a large portion of life the protected park.

Part 3/3 of my Fruit Bowl Dinos. These ones are all the new designs I've made. I've already got all 12 fruit dinos up as stickers on my Redbubble if anyone wants them. These are the coconut concavenator, grape guanlong, lemon lambeosaurus, and orange oviraptor.

Part 2/3 of my new Fruit Bowl Dinos designs. This is the last of my redesigns, the next ones are going to be completely new. Here we got a dragonfruit dilophosaurus, peach parasaurolophus, pineapple pachyrhinosaurus, and strawberry spinosaurus.

April's drawing is for the Rice's Whale.

The Rice’s Whale is a medium-sized baleen whale that lives in the Gulf of Mexico. They are estimated to only have around 50 individuals left and was listed as critically endangered by the IUCN Red List in 2021, the same year that they were deemed their own distinct species. They are often struck by boats, a lot of the time as they sleep at the surface of the water. They can also become entangled in marine debris and fishing nets, leading them to drown. Water and noise pollution also plays a large role in their decline. Water pollution, often from oil spills, joined by climate change negatively affects their food sources’ populations. Noise pollution interferes with the whale’s vocalizations and makes it drastically harder for them to communicate with each other. Most of the noise coming from boats and oil drilling. Trump’s desire for more oil has become a massive threat to the Rice’s whale. He has used the “God Squad” to allow oil companies to bypass the protections put in place to protect endangered species in the gulf that has been there for decades. This group is a government panel that was created in 1978 to create exemptions to Endangered Species Act protections if it was deemed profitable enough. The Rice’s whale are not the only ones affected by this, though. Many endangered sea turtles, manta rays, coral, and more share those waters, and they are the ones paying the price for Trump’s greed.

March's monthly drawing is for the South China tigers.

The South China tiger, also known as the Amoy tiger or the Xiamen tiger, is one of the smallest tiger species. They once roamed throughout Southern China, but are now functionally extinct in the wild. Their remaining population is less then 200 individuals who are scattered throughout multiple Chinese zoos. South China tigers had kept a healthy population up until the 1950s where many tigers were hunted down in an “anti-pest” campaign. They were listed as critically endangered by the IUCN Red list in 1996, and hunting was finally banned by the Chinese government in 1979. The hunting, combined with habitat loss from an increase in human population and the demand of tiger parts for traditional medicine, they disappeared from the wild. The biggest threat to the South China tigers now is inbreeding. The remaining South China tigers have all come from the same six tigers that were caught from the wild between 1958 and 1970. Their descendants suffer from multiple birth defects and health issues caused by the lack of genetic diversity.

Got another one of my monthly drawings done. February's drawing is for vaquitas and totoaba.

Vaquitas are the world’s smallest cetacean, and is critically endangered with only around ten left. They were first discovered in 1958 and only found in the northern-most parts of of the California Gulf. Vaquitas have often been caught and then drowned in gillnets that where meant for the illegal fishing of totoaba. Totoaba had been overfished by the middle of the 70s, and were listed as endangered in 1975. Fishing for totoaba started becoming popular again around the early 2010s because of the illegal trade of its swim bladder. Their swim bladders are believed to have many health benefits within traditional Chinese medicine, and it goes for such a high price that it is often called “aquatic cocaine” or “cocaine of the sea”.

Another animal character as human, this time of @panic-and-chaos’ cat character Tot.

She said that she wanted a punk aesthetic for the human version of the character so do you think the character looks punk enough?

The patches were really fun to design and the shirt is in reference to her owner @panic-and-chaos’ character Grayson and his stage name Chat Lenoir. So I turned it into a band shirt. For the calico markings, other than going crazy with the hair. I gave her port wine stain birthmarks to mimic the markings on her face as a cat. One patch of the orange and white cat crossed out is also of her character Jais
