I hate when this happens, but it looks like I’m going to have to put this blog on Hiatus for the time being. I’m not looking to delete since I have a lot of them for them, but due to lack of threads and motivation for HQ!! blogs, I think it’s safe for me to just keep to the three blogs I still have muse for. I will most likely revamp when I have the energy, but until them, you can catch me on one of my other blogs:

Lev decided he would try to let the comment on his sister’s beauty roll off him. It wasn’t like Alisa wasn’t pretty, but something about Yaku affirming this didn’t sit right with him.
“Well, I’m glad they had you!” he said honestly. “Your siblings sound like they’d be too old for me to be friends with and kids are kinda…” He shuddered slightly. It wasn’t uncommon for him, a teenage boy, to be impartial to children.
“How old are your niece and nephew?”
“Ha.. me too?” Morisuke rose his eyebrows at the compliment, never knowing what to make of words like that from Lev. His enthusisiam was simply amusing sometimes. He wasn’t surprised that it seemed odd to the other that he was a uncle already.
“ I mean, I was super skeptical about having a niece and nephew, but they can be a lot of fun. It’s almost like having little siblings, but they think I’m really cool and I don’t get to pick on them.’ He joked lightly.
“Emiko is four and Hal is six. So they are full of energy and they’re crazy.”
sukishima:
“I apologize.” He murmurs, pushing the plate back. “I am unable to finish…” But then, it sounded as if they would both stay in today. “Perhaps it can be reheated later.” He is not fond of waste, and yet the senpai keep piling things on his plates at lunch.
“We could at least… try and go out later. Not to school, just… around the neighborhood.” He suggested. Logically, it would at least be a semblance of normality. “Even just a trip to the convenience store would be fine.”
It was his duty, wasn’t it, to make sure the human he had made such a link with would be able to feel safe in the world anew.
“Don’t worry about it, I put a lot on there out of habit, sorry. You can always eat it later.” Morisuke assured him, clearing his throat gently. He was already finished with his plate, not eating the night before really kicked him. He got up and took both of their plates, putting plastic wrap over Kei’s and placing it in his fridge.
“That’s a good idea.. It’s not too much and I could use a few things.. Maybe we can rent a movie or something.” Anything distracting would be helpful. He started to work on his dishes for the moment, trying to think of something to say.
sukishima:
“There exist simple yet healthy recipes. Simple dishes are still enjoyable.” He gives a light nod. “Wasting food that has been cooked wrong is a much more punishable offense.” He dislikes waste, obviously.
“…yes, this event seems to have very much shaken the two of us. I cannot apologize enough. I certainly wish I could be able to better assist you in finding back a measure of calm and rationality.” He sighs lightly, starting on the food. It is indeed quite tasty.
A short glance at the question, and he gives a shake of head. “I will not be attending school today.” It may be a given with what happened the day before, perhaps.
Morisuke nodded, Kei seemed to have a similar opinion with him. Yaku could eat a lot for his size, and that showed in the size of portions he gave the two of them, part of him just assuing that a tall guy like Kei would be able to put so much back as well.
“No need to apologize. It’s not like it’s your fault, what happened, it happened. I suppose I would rather have my eyes opened than closed..” he added the last bit in a softer tone.
“Yeah... I feel like I should stay in as well. I don’t think I’m ready to just go out and on with my life just yet, you know?” he glanced over at him.
“There’s no rush for you to leave.” Yes, he was still shaken to what Kei was. But he had saved his life, and he wasn’t going to hold anything against him.
sukishima:
The smell of eggs was soon filling the small kitchen, and thanks to the other explaining his reasoning for such a choice, he had to fall into step. “I have to say they are very good reasons. Eggs can be cooked in a variety of ways too, and adding some simple ingredients or sides can certainly keep things interesting.” He gave a light nod.
He did not feel as rested as he should, but knew torturing his mind with such a thought was useless. It was no use dwelling on this. “I may have had a worse night in my own bed, so I am grateful. I hope you feel more rested than you did before going to sleep, Yaku-san.” After all, he was not certain what to do now to try and pacify both their minds. To him, hunting Planeshifters was some natural duty, but there was so much he did not know that it had him uneasy.
“Yeah, that’s how I see it too. I’m not the best cook, to be honest. I try to keep the meals I try really simple so I don’t wind up making a mess of it.” He was talking for the sake of filling the silence. The two of them didn’t know each other too well, but they had shared a pretty intense experience together. He knew they should talk about that, but right now, small talk was easier.
“It’s no issue. It was easier having you here last night.. I probably wouldn’t have gone to bed if you hadn’t been, soo…” he walked out with their plates, setting one in front of Kei before taking his own seat. He started eating silently for a moment, before clearing his throat.
“Do you work today..Or school?”
solgalev-haiba:
It wasn’t really like Yaku to arrive late. Alternatively, it wasn’t like Lev to arrive early. After the game he had went home and made sure to put enough effort in his presentation so that he could impress his senior. He even had Alisa give him some tips. He told himself it was because he wanted to show Yaku how much he’d matured in the two years he’d been away, but that was only partially the reason.
Lev checked his phone, wondering if he should call the other, and ignoring the few angry text messages he had from his boyfriend from cancelling their plans tonight. It was then that the older male’s voice caught his attention,
“Yaku-san!” he chirped, tucking his phone into his pocket.
“It hasn’t been long, should we go in?”
Lev looked plenty excited to see him and Morisuke couldn’t help but beam right back at him. He’d almost forgot about that, how Lev looked at him like he was always eager to see him when they were back in high school (when he wasn’t getting on him about practicing). It gave him a warm, significant feeling, one that he hadn’t felt in a while.
“Thanks for waiting! I just got caught up trying to get out of my house, ha, my mom just wants me to spend all my time there.” He chuckled softly. He agreed that they should head inside, moving to open the door for the other and walk in after to him. He peaked up at him when they waited to be seated.
“How have you been?”
solgalev-haiba:
“Barbeque!” Lev exclaimed. If he could use a splinter as an excuse to go eat out with Yaku, then he’d have to get more acquainted with the broom handles in the storage closet.
Yaku gave a big nod, Lev picking one of his favorite things to go out and eat. He knew a good place for them to go too.
“Nice, I’ll pick the place.” He grinned, his mouth practically watering at the thought. He grabbed his coat and bag and started to lead him out, waving at the rest of team before they headed out.
solgalev-haiba:
“Yeah, she’s alright,” Lev answered vaguely. “She stays at home a lot even though she’s in college and she picks on me sometimes. I don’t think she likes how cool I am.”
He was close with his sister. And since she was older and prettier she usually attracted a lot of attention from guys, something Lev had never felt really comfortable about. Little brother instincts, he supposed.
“Do you have siblings, Yaku-san?”
“Ha, that’s what older siblings do, right? She seems really nice, from when I met her. Not to mention pretty.” Yaku smiled, now that he was thinking about it, the two of them really did a lot alike. He glanced away from him when he thought he was staring far too long. He cleared his throat and straightened up a bit.
“Oh, yeah, I have two. I have a sister who is twenty seven. She has two kids, my niece and nephew. And I also have a older brother who just turned twenty five. I was born a while after them, ha ha. My parents weren’t really intending to have another child.”

kuroo-testsubro:
“You’re gonna get slow that way. You’ll still probably be the best liebro around though.” Kuroo admitted with a laugh. Though of course he would probably gain weight too, he had little impulse control and times and enjoyed food just a bit too much.
Kuroo tapped his nose with his index finger when Yaku offered to help him with English. “Deal. Any help I can get is appreciated.” He said with a laugh as he looked at the notebook. He let out a long sigh, slumping into the chair.
“Oh! You know what we should do sometime before we completely lose our minds. We should have a chill out day. Where we literally do nothing for as long as humanly possible.”
“Pff, don’t flatter me. I’ll just have to roll for the ball, I’ll find a way to make it work.” Morisuke snickered, since his active imagination instantly played the image in his head. He was sure he would manage to keep himself in shape if he was playing the sport, though.
“Cool, we can make time for it when I have all of my books. And damn, you’re right that is completely needed. Hey, maybe we could do it on a Sunday? I can just come over with snacks and stuff and we’ll veg out on your couch.” he offered, still focusing on the work as he wrote down. He finished up transfering the notes, before offering the book back over to the other.
“And I mean not move for hours.” he grinned.
solgalev-haiba:
Lev whined, something that he actually had stopped doing as much as he got older. He was glad that his teammates had already went to change, or else he’d be very embarrassed. But he also knew that there was no arguing with Yaku now.
“Fiiiiiiinnneeee,” he groaned, before registering the other’s compliment.
“Oh, um, thanks.” He’s actually cut it recently, hoping that his boyfriend would notice it (which he hadn’t), so it meant a lot to him that Yaku had complimented it.
“And okay! I’ll be waiting for it!” he responded, before turning to follow his teammates to the lockers to change.
Yaku had made it to the restuarunt he and the other agreed to meet at just a little later than intended. He had ran around for what seemed like a long time picking up all the groceries his parents needed, then had to stop at home to change. He felt this odd need to look good, which he knew exactly what to blame on.
He hadn’t expected Lev to just catch his eye again like that, silly high school attractions should have died down by now. Yet, here he was, picking out a better outfit then what he’d worn to the game.
He waved at the other when he spotted him, approaching him with a smile.
“Hey, you haven’t been waiting long, right?”
solgalev-haiba:
How come Yaku always knew what to say?
“Oh can we go get something to eat?!” It was within Lev’s nature as a teenage boy to crave food at any and all possible hours.
Morisuke was pretty much always down to go and get something to eat.
“Yeah, let’s do that. What are you in the mood for?” he questioned. At least Lev’s mood seemed to pick back up.
solgalev-haiba:
The other’s discomfort completely lost on him, Lev crossed his arms. “Well, I really just need to get things for the spring and summer before they get too pricey. And Alisa wants to me to pick up some fancy shampoo from one of the stores at the mall,” Lev responded.
He couldn’t explain why, but he was overjoyed that Yaku wanted to spend this time with him. Lev enjoyed his company and was really going to miss him when he graduated.
“Eh.. That’s probably a good idea, to be prepared. Maybe I’ll grab a few things too.” He didn’t really need much, he still fit all of his clothes from last year and the year before that. But new clothing items was always nice.
He glanced over when Lev brought up shopping for his sister, raising his eyebrows.
“It’s nice of you to do that for her. Are you two pretty close?” he asked him. His siblings both had seven and ten years on him, so he never really got the chance to run errands for them before they moved out.
sukishima:
“…hn?” Was the query that came, although a few seconds later another low hum came again. “Hn.” Finally, a few seconds more until a light “Yes.” Filtered to the other’s ears.
The other did stir him when he stepped into the shower earlier, but somehow his body was simply unwilling to move for the whole half-hour. Only now was he semi-successfuly moving, not that his companion would know.
Still, he did his best to appear lively as he inquired about having a quick shower. Thanks to the water’s spray, he definitely felt more awake and somewhat rejuvenated stepping out of the tiny room. He wore yesterday’s clothes out of necessity, not looking as displeased by this as he felt internally.
“Thank you very much for the hospitality, Yaku-san.” He gave a dip of head, joining the other at the table. Sleep may not have been as restful as he hoped, but he could only guess it was caused by him using so much of his power. “Eggs and toast.. you favor foreign styles of breakfast?” He sounds interested, attempting to make small talk.
“Don’t mention it, it’s the least I can do.” Yaku responded to the thanks, watching the eggs as they fried in the pan. He shrugged his shoulders at the question, glancing over his shoulder.
“I wouldn’t say favor, but I like this because it’s simple to make and has protein. I like to try different recipes, it makes cooking for yourself less dreadful and more interesting..” he rambled a bit, finding that it settled his nerves. Once the food was plated, he brought the two plates to the table.
“..Did you sleep okay?” he asked, though he had a feeling Kei had as many issues as he did throughout the night.
