Your style is amazing and I think it looks unique. Three things stand out to me: thick expressive lineart, fluidity of the character's poses etc (they don't look stiff I guess?) and variety in shading (JP dots, gradient, and cel). ❤️

Are there any artists or works that inspire you? Or rephrased how did you come about your personal art style?

What inspired my style most is probably persona q 1/2, @.ionicisaac's.style (thats their twitter idk if theyre on tumblr) and the style used in the anime cutscenes for persona 3 fes!! Though its been years since they had any direct influence on my art its what led my style to go in the direction it did

a lot of my style is just random aspects i decided to add over time !! Not really direct influence from anything (i think)

Though originally i wanted the dots and lineart to be different but the way they come out now im really happy with

I wanted to have pressure sensitivity in my lineart (similar to ionicisaac) , but since i draw on my phone i couldnt get that to work so i tried making a brush that gets thinner as you go faster and though its not originally what i wanted ive been using it for like 5? 6? years at this point !! I cannot live without it

And the dots were actually originally meant to be a rounded halftone brush (kinda like manga halftones) but they acted a bit wierd sometimes and sometimes did what i didnt want them to so i changed them to be square and thought wow this is cool and unique and awesome
