i start my final med school exams tomorrow and thought i’d look back on my blog at my old med/undergrad/highschool posts and holy moly

what a mess lol

but bless this mess we are almost at the end (hopefully)

coming to the end of medical school is weird because you’re in close contact with people many years in front of you doing the same thing

studying for college exams, sitting and re-sitting exams and continuing to do the whole student thing... but just as a working professional

it makes medical school feel insignificant because that light at the tunnel is beginning to just look like a small moment before entering another.

but right now, 7 weeks out from my final exams I keep catching myself getting very emotional. I have wanted this for so long and to be so close to the end is overwhelming

if everything goes to plan I’ll be a doctor in just a few months... A crazy thought. The imposter syndrome is still as strong as day one. 

and since I rarely post on here anymore, I completely forgot to share, I received and accepted a job offer back in my home state. So I'll be packing up my life here, doing long-distance with my partner for a year (while he finishes uni), and heading home.

I’m emotional, in a good way (I think), and hope I can use it to fuel my motivation over the next few weeks to finish this degree without letting my anxiety/imposter syndrome/doubt impact my performance.
