This is not saying other lives do not matter in any size, shape or form! There is a silent but implied “too”- as in “Black lives matter, too”. This encourages inclusion rather than exclusion. By saying “All lives matter” or any other variations of that phrase is a dismissal to the very problems that the phrase “Black Lives Matter” is trying to draw attention to.
