hi everyone. essays are hard. working as an English tutor, I've started to realize how hard those can be. here is Mickie's Guide To Essays (basic). It has pretty much all the rules I follow, and i do pretty damn well in english. Yipee.

My first semester of my first year of my clinical psychology doctorate program has officially started! đ€đ I switched to notes on my iPad this time so everythingâs in one place (and so I can add pictures of the brain for my neurosci class easily).
you donât have to be productive or busy all the time. just because youâre not studying, working on a new project or researching, doesnât mean you arenât spending your time well. striving to be busy all the time is not an intentional way of using your time - filling your head with more and more tasks and more and more guilt. try to focus on what really matters to you, and on how to create a positive, clear headspace for yourself. when are you at your happiest? how can you enjoy those moments more? when did you last slow down a little, look around, rest intentionally?

01. If youâre bilingual or learning a language, write a whole page in that language
02. Print/write the funniest shitposts you can find
03. Write a paragraph (or page, if youâre full of love) dedicated to what you like about a friend!! Do this for each person in your friend circle
04. Those hypothetical conversations you have in your head? Write them down
05. Track the song(s) that get stuck in your head throughout the day and write them down as a playlist at the end
06. Funniest line youâve said today. If youâre not too funny, lines from yt videos/podcasts/shows/etc that made you laugh work too
07. Date spots that you wanna go to
08. List your friendsâ zodiac signs and how accurate you think it is
09. A thorough history explaining your political stance and how you came to think that
10. Follow a Bob Ross tutorial (you know what i mean)
11. If youâre an artist, draw a pie chart (or list the percentages) of your inspirations for your art style e.g. 25% steven universe, 31% Michael Angelo etc
