Despite their reunion, she claimed that she’s indebted to that man so she cannot come back and live with him. Her firm rejection of him, despite all he did to ensure that she was by his side again-- they’re family, aren’t they? Then she departed to train overseas, leaving him again.
Honestly, Tamaki thinks for a moment that it might’ve been better if he never knew that she’s being forced to train as an idol too. In a way, it confirms his worries-- what if those gross dudes in the industry try to exploit her? It sucks, it really sucks that he can’t do a single thing about it. Nothing crushes him more than the fact he can’t even become a dependable older brother. Now alone in his thoughts or whatever, he wearily glances around his surroundings. It’s hazy, but Tamaki can faintly make out a figure resembling Aya.
“Onii-chan, I’m sorry...”
Her sweet demeanor appears crystal clear before him, only to be again gradually shrouded in fog as she starts to walk further and further away from him. He desperately tries to chase after her, his legs dragging through groggily through the haze-- eventually, she vanishes. “AYA!” Tamaki screams, extending his hand through the fog in hopes that she would be in it. Nothing.
“No... she’s gone. Why is she gone?” He cries, the look of disbelief still apparent on his face. Tears begin to stream down his face, and he loses the energy to furiously wipe it off. “It’s not fair. Not even in my dreams she’ll stay...” He pauses, looking down at his feet. He sniffs, and begins to follow the path she disappeared on. She has to be up ahead.
Instead in front of him is a figure with white hair, and it resembles... “Sou-chan! I... don’t get it. Sou-chan, tell me why she’s still leaving.” Tamaki’s voice begins to crack as he goes on, and eventually he lapses into silence.
