Ive always wondered who has the most dolls out of all of us. Whoever you are, turn your house into a museum! I’d sure pay to look at them :)

I suspect a lot of the people with larger collections tend to keep quiet about it as admitting they have a lot of dolls tends to get you put under the microscope. Either it’s omg you have a lot of dolls so you be mentally ill or you won’t miss _____ limited doll because you have so many so sell it to me but only at a cheap price or you must be rich buy my overpriced used/yellowed doll or gift me a doll!!! 

For the record, I have 70 bjds and 40 Dollfie Dreams. Most of my bjds are tinies because I prefer tinies. I’m pretty much silent in the bjd world, I’ve learned. I have a lot of Pullips and am very active in that community, having a big collection tends to get your every action over-analyzed when really it’s pretty simple I like dolls and I enjoy having a large variety of them. It doesn’t make me special, it just means I’m very devoted. If I don’t discuss my personal life it’s because it’s by it’s very nature personal.

I really want a 1/8 doll to start crocheting and knitting for it, but I can’t find a doll around 100/120$ that I like, and I simply don’t want a recast :(

....honestly I get the impression that is true of most people in any hobby, people are nuts. Since there is a bit of disconnect between irl and online people are less afraid of the consequences of acting out online and are less likely to try to hide the crazy.
