The Peace Parade has perched in San José where 70 brightly painted doves, each with a message of peace and culture, are now on display. The doves are a universal symbol of peace and the spherical bases of the sculptures represent Costa Rica’s pre-Columbian history. The project is affiliated with the Cow Parade, the world’s largest public art event hosted in more than 50 cities.
To see more photos of the project, check out the Peace Parade’s website or visit them on Facebook.
